But yeah, same thing, they’re so busy telling me how great they think their state is that it makes me wonder why they ever bothered coming here.
Texan's love of Texas is a weird thing.

I grew up in Monroe, a rust belty small town perfectly in between Detroit and Toledo. Growing up, I never realized how used to it I was to see old abandoned factories with broken windows and shit, until going back to visit after we moved to joco with new money strip malls everywhere.
Trenton, a Downriver suburb of Detroit.

Ukraine, Russia, inauguration committee, emoluments, all the money laundering or tax whatever prior to office, there’s still so many lose ends about the previous administration.

Texans can be quite nice within their state, but make very obnoxious tourists. I'm not sure why--they aggravated the New Mexicans a lot and seems the same with the Coloradans. Here in Florida, they rank well behind the "In Atlanta we do it this way..." tourists.

The assholes from the Bay area won't shut the fuck up about it, so it feels like I've lived there my entire life.

I also hate the weather, like Mark Twain famously said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in The Bay Area." That's something LA has in spades over the bay area...sunshine.

Have you spent much time in Texas, or just dealt with rubes from there?
Mark Twain famously didn’t say anything like that
