Harbaugh just really muffed this. That clock management was jus awful. Play calling was awful.

I didn't give much credence to the McDaniel vaping on the sideline claim yesterday but it seems no one is proving it's not true. Would help make some sense out of the brain dead delayed play calling.

I had Jefferson on a postseason fantasy team.
Now he's gone.

The Bills and Bengals, both annointed by their own fanbases as the new kings of the AFC, struggled to beat backup QBs.

True. And?
Meanwhile, the Bills and Bengals both proved they are good enough to beat the Chiefs. Right?
Remember, the Chiefs struggled to beat a horrendous Malik Willis.
That being said, I still like the Chiefs to cruise through to the Super Bowl and then beat whatever NFC team they play.

Maybe all it proves is that backup QBs are good enough to keep you in a game against a good opponent but not good enough to win you a game against a good opponent, who knows. I was very underwhelmed by both the Bills and the Bengals yesterday. Both teams were meh. It means nothing in the scheme of things as every week is different.

I am not smart enough to know what it proves or doesn't prove. I believe "systems" are important for any QB's success (and failures) and that coaching, defense, and special teams (as well as officiating) can play a huge bearing on the outcome of games.
I agree that both the Bills and Bengals came off as being "meh" yesterday. They struggled against what I felt were inferior teams. I also strongly agree that every week is different. The Bills and Bengals should be thrilled they played games in which they didn't play their best - and yet are still advancing.

Agreed. "Survive and advance" is all that really matters in the playoffs. There are no style points that go towards anything that counts. Just gotta make more plays than the opponent. But I do think that the struggles of the Buffalo defense to get stops despite the fact that Miami did just about everything possible to stop themselves does make Buffalo look a little more vulnerable than I thought they were prior to this past weekend. I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Bengals beat them next week.
