Jokić's 4th foul is a joke.

No wonder we're suffering from a lack of masculinity.

Uh oh, Braun called-out on national TV for missing a defensive assignment, and being taken out of the game.

LOL at the Lakers for thinking Russell (and Vanderbilt and Beasley) are better than Westbrook.
I say if the Lakers had Westbrook, they aren't down 3-0. Heck, they might be up 2-1.

Last night.... Russell 3 points, 4 assists, 3 turnovers. Vanderbilt 2 points and 1 rebound. Beasley played 1 minute.
Game 2..... Russell 10 points and 5 assists. Team worst -16. Vanderbilt 4 points and 2 rebounds. Beasley DNP
Game 1..... Russell 8 points and 3 assists. Team worst (BY FAR) -25. Vanderbilt 0 points 1 rebound, Beasley DNP.

I look at these playoffs and remember one season the Bools had D Rose, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer, Rip Hamilton, Taj Gibson, Kyle Korver and JIMMY BUTLER. How could that team not be better than the 4 teams in the conference finals now?
Well, I guess I have to take in to account that at that time, Jimmy Butler averaged 2.6 points per game.
Let that sink in.
When he left the Bools he averaged 23.9 ppg.

Im just impressed that the Lakers, with LeBron and AD and then an absolute shell of a roster, has made it this far.

At one point they were what, 12th in the West and looking at missing the playoffs altogether.

I think that if the Lakers still had Westbrook and hadn't swapped out the guts of their roster that they would have missed the playoffs entirely.

And Reaves?
I remember the UK @ KU game in 2016 when Selden dunked on Skal Labissière's head that I could see that Murray was going to be a really good NBA player.

You very well may be right. We'll never know.
What I do know is that Russell Westbrook has a 24.5 points per game, 7.2 rebound, 7.9 assist, playoff average for his career and plays with A LOT more heart and balls than D'Angelo Russell, Vanderbilt, and Beasley.

D-Angelo Russell is a selfish, streaky shooter and isn't a good fit for what the Lakers are doing. It's what they could get for Westbrook but he isn't getting them over the top in the Western Conference. Denver is just too loaded with elite players, capable talent and reliable shooters.

Jokic and Murray are the best combo of stars left in the playoffs. James isn't what he used to be and Davis is too erratic and fragile. Tatum and Brown disappear at times for Boston and Miami just has Butler. This looks like Denver's year.

Why on a Sunday, with no sport’s competition whatsoever, are you starting the game at 8:45 ET?

Why not 6?

I really don’t want a Kroenke team to win a Championship in anything, but the devout Nugget fan deserves one.

Love seeing Marcus Smart come up short again.
Almost as satisfying as seeing LeBron lose.

Denver v. Miami will be fun to watch

Smart is Rodmanesque in that he's a guy you love to hate when he's on another team but you love to love him when he's on your team.

The NBA......
Where you allow UNDRAFTED Gabe Vincent to score 29, UNDRAFTED Duncan Robinson score 22, and UNDRAFTED Caleb Martin score 18 against you in a very important game 3.
As a collective team the Celtics should look at themselves in a mirror and then check this out.

I didn’t watch last nights game but I imagine it was more of the same from Mazulla.

“I just let ‘em play.”

These dudes don’t need a hands off coach. You have two top 20 players, two excellent defenders who have been up for DPOY and a strong bench. The talent is there. The structure isn’t.

I think Brad Stevens would have been best to stay as coach for when Tatum and Brown approached their prime. Mazulla ain’t it.

Yes, more of the same from Mazulla. It was 61-46 at the half. Looked grim for the Celtics but the game was hardly over. You would think the Celts would have played with some urgency in the 2nd half. Well, the Heat proceeded to outscore them by 15 in the 3rd Quarter. Combo of good defense by the Heat and poor shooting (and coaching) by the Celtics.

Crazy stat of the game. The Celtics had 21 offensive rebounds. The Heat had 1.

I agree 100% that right now Stevens would be a better coach for the Celtics than Mazulla.

I honestly don’t think he even wants to keep coaching. Not from his answers to the media all season.

“ Later, Mazzulla was asked whether Boston's defensive identity has been lost during these playoffs, as the Celtics went from being second in the league in defensive rating during the regular season to 10th in the playoffs, allowing 3 more points per 100 possessions in the postseason.

"Yeah, I think some of that defensive identity has been lost," Mazzulla said, "and we have to get that back."

Yep.
