12 hard hit outs tonight. They’re fine.

Tough loss tonight, giving up two runs on the road feels like a good win opportunity

Seems like the first real bad luck loss of the season.

Need to concentrate on getting a man on with nobody out--not swing blindly so quickly in the count. THe last three innings were excruciating reminders of the past last night. Hard hit outs or not, the team isn't scoring many runs.

Starting Bobby at AA. Unless he gets hurt or sucks, we'll see him with the big club this year.

Hoping he's still around when NW Arkansas plays against Wichita in AA ball. Definitely want to watch him. That'll be in mid-July.

Just come to the K. 17.5 being allowed in starting next week.

Definitely coming to the K. Make one trip a year. Tough with a family of 5 to make it work often, but it'll definitely happen.

Broke a long losing streak in Pittsburgh. When Taylor made that spectacular catch over the wall then lost the ball for a HR, after the incredible bases loaded double play that ended the KC half of the fourth, felt a little snake bitten. Then Bientendi’s double wound up under the LF’s back on the spectacular dive. Universe shuddered and adjusted.

That's a game they lose in so many other years.

I instinctively had my head hung when Pittsburgh got it to 6-5 with a chance for more.
I was at a historic game around 2005/6/7? I took my not a big baseball fan girlfriend to a Royals game. I'm fairly certain it was Red Soxs. Pretty good house since it was the sox in town. We were up like 7-1 around the sixth or seventh, and looking good. My girl was having fun, and asked if I was excited. I remember my exact words, "they're the Royals, they'll blow it." She laughed.
Sure enough, The Sox batted around and ended up taking the lead of something like 8-7 in their next half inning, and ended up winning something like 10-7.

The Royals had so many batting practice quality arms in the 05-10 range of years.

The laundry list of failed pitching prospects in the late 90s and early 2000s is really quite remarkable.
Melville
Austin
George
Dwyer
Arguelles
Griffin
Just scratching the surface here.
