I am struggling to decide who I want to see lose tonight. On one hand I enjoy seeing Jerry Jones lose. On the other hand I also enjoy seeing Tom Brady lose. So does that make tonight's game a win/win?

I would love it if this was Tom Brady's last career game.

Dallas can just lose next week. Go Cowboys.

would be delicious
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I'm no cowboys fan, but this beat down is pretty sweet.

Chiefs over Jags by 10
Eagles beat the Giants by 4
Bengals over Bills by 4. Could easily be flipped if Bengals are down 3 OL like they could be.
49ers beating Cowboys by 10

Brady became the first QB in the Super Bowl era to attempt 65+ passes and score less than 17 points. Ha!

I still think Brady has a year or two left in him with the right coach and system.
Tampa was in disarray.
Get him on the 9ers and watch out.

No need for the Niners to do that. Stick with Purdy on his bargain basement contract and go all in on whatever other stuff they need. Or go back to Trey Lance while he is on his rookie contract still. No need to spend big on a temporary rental when you have 2 young QBs. Then they can trade Jimmy G and get even more draft capital/positional upgrades.

He'll either stay with Tampa with different offensive coaches or go to Vegas and play with McDaniels.

Tampa will have the OL healthy, which didn't really happen this year.

I disagree.
And it's because I think Brady is better than all of those options.
Trade Trey Lance. Keep Purdy obviously.

If a superbowl is the goal and not having a lower salary expense, then yes, brady is far superior to either of those guys.

Brady is still a top 10-15 QB imo.

It's not a matter of him simply being better. It's a matter of "what combined players can I get on the roster for that combined dollar amount". If you pay as much as Brady requires then you cannot spend that money somewhere else and I don't think Brady is good enough to make up for the downgrade they would have at some other position due to the cap hit of Brady.

Plus I hate Tom Brady and hope he retires so there's that.

I have a feeling that the Gage injury at the end of the game was a bit of an eye opener for Brady. He definitely seemed spooked. Maybe all those words Gisele said about continuing to play a dangerous sport came back to him.

I think he'll be done. And I love that he came back and unretired for an 8-10 season.

The NFL is a quarterback driven league.
And Brady is the greatest player to ever play the game of football.
I would gather Brady would take a pay cut to play for a contender - maybe another 1 year deal at 30 million, 15 million guaranteed.

If you shed Trey Lance's contact, you could get 20 million of that.
Tom Brady for 10 million more than Trey?
Yea, you do that.

San Fran's oline would give Brady plenty of time/protection and you could take some of the pressure of him with the run game. And then you have that great defense. It makes sense.

My point being that they may benefit more from the combo of a rookie QB salary and an elite player at a different position rather than Brady at QB and a scrub at the other position due to having to pay Brady so much more. Salary things aren't just a single player to single player comparison.
