NBA Playoffs 24
Re: NBA Playoffs 24
A lot of signs pointing to Porzingis suiting up, which is great, but how effective will he be with over a month of no game action?

Re: NBA Playoffs 24
My guess is somewhere between very, somewhat, and not at all.
Sort of like how my guess is if the Celtics win the Championship and he plays in every game, he will finish either 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th in Finals MVP voting.
Being more serious, from whatever you can get out of a scrimmage, he looked a bit tentative to me a few days ago. I have zero idea how his conditioning will be. We shall see.
Meanwhile, Luka is saying he's not feeling physically better despite the rest. Yep, as the not so great Gutter says, "Excuses are for losers". He had his excuse already prepared.

Rainbows I'm sorry you have nothing better to do than to go digging stuff up on a message board.

I didn’t take it as an excuse.

Me either. He's played in 87 games so far this season+playoffs.
Re: NBA Playoffs 24
So I can't bet against my Celtics in the first game of the playoffs ( following heart ) but the logical me would take Dallas to cover the spread tonight ( if not outright win ). I think Dallas will take 1 of these 2 games in Boston.

Re: NBA Finals
hey everyone, post here…q needs his validation
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

This is a nah fam for me.

I'll be moving this.

I was gonna ask, where’d the finals thread go?
But at least pdub admits it’s largely due to superstition.
Btw bro I know your lucky boxer briefs haven’t been removed since Ray Allen played in Boston, but for the sake of everyone else’s nostrils, holy shit would you wash those crusty things?

I have the Celtics if Porzingis can play through the series.
Otherwise, it's a toss up, because I think Al Horford has gotten abused from lesser players these playoffs and Dallas is both elite at getting Luka and Irving switched to the matchups they want AND attacking the basket with lobs ( of which I don't think Horford will be able to contain ).
With no Porzingis, it's going to come down to whether Tatum makes his 3's I think.

Kristaps looks good. Boston is the better team. Dallas may struggle to defend the Boston guards. Luka and Kyrie are going to have to be extra special for this series to be exciting.

Porzingis so far so good.
His defense is so helpful.
