If "incites a violent occupation of the Capital" is the new precedent, I am OK with that. If Biden does the same thing at any point, I would also be OK with the 25th being used to remove him from office.

Also, we have a 240 year history of constantly increasing the power of the executive branch beyond what is in the constitution.

Keeping the executive branch in check would be a good thing. Knowing that you are not an all powerful king would be a good thing for any and all future presidents.

This goes back to Fox News going all-in on Trump. They have scared the nuts into inaction

I watched some Fox News to see how they were covering it.
It was acceptable - they were shocked/upset/not supporting what the domestic terrorists were doing.

I watched fox most of yesterday afternoon. Yeah, they weren't down with it.

Sure they weren’t down with it, but did you guys feel like there were also a lot of deflections and whataboutisms and dog whistles too?

They did a lot of doubling down on, “but concerns about election security!” And why even mention BLM and antifa?

At the very least, I don’t know why we heard so much about how the Russia investigations were and still are a witch hunt...
