Maybe....but they aren't really saying anything that isn't a realistic outcome. It is very possible we get a ban and/or Self/KT gets a ban.

The entire sport is going to be a sloppy mess with poor shooting and increased turnovers next year. The huge volume of turnover nationwide guarantees it. Hopefully KU has enough variety of ways to score that they can rise above it.

You've got to have an ace in the hole
A little secret that nobody knows
Life is a gamble, a game we all play
But you need to save something for a rainy day

could be a nice asset off the bench.

That to me is your shooter if you're not counting on Ochai coming back. So we essentially traded Enaruna for Colemna-Lands.

Does this pretty much guarantee that Agbaji is going pro? this puts us one over the scholly limit.

Should be a good defender, too, with his length.

We will be very glad to have this guy if Remy doesn't come and/or Yesufu has a hard adjustment period.

Not a good sign for Ochai returning.

I don't know, but I'd think it's pretty unlikely we get both Remy and Och here, so I get it. Plus, why is Cam guaranteed a scholly? That's a frickin' lotto ticket.

I don't think it necessarily means one thing or another about Och. I think this whole offseason is goddamned musical chairs, and Bill is just stockpiling assets. There's no way there's not a spot for Och if he doesn't stay in the draft.

Exactly. The old boring line of "those things tend to work themselves out."

We traded a guy with length to Iowa State in Enaruna for a guy with length in Coleman-Lands. A wash fromt he sounds of it. KU will be this kid's fourth school. Illinois, DePaul, Iowa State and now Kansas.

Except this guy can shoot and has scored against Big 12 competition. I generally agree, though, and think the Enaruna swap is interesting nugget and a sign of things to come.

He was in Carlton Bragg's high school recruiting class.

To be honest, Iowa State was so irrelevant last year that I hadn't really looked at any of their stats. I didn't realize that this kid scored 14 ppg for them in 32 minutes a game, starting 22 of 23 games for them. I was picturing him as a bench player.

Probably a bench player anywhere else in the league, haha.

He'll be a bench guy here but you've talked me into feeling like he will be more of an impact player than Enaruna would have been.
