Yea.
Rough.
No Pulido - and that would likely would have helped early when we were getting chances - but our defense and offsides trap failed ( well, not on the second goal b/c it was offsides ).
Not the greatest year to earn the 1 seed b/c there aren't any byes and home field advantage is useless.
Still, big improvement from last season.

Still a little PTSD, but moving on.
Vermes plays it cold and does what other KC franchises are not wont to do: will not negotiate with hometown hero Besler.

Yeah probably time for that to happen. Zusi should be next.

Time to put together a strong back-4 and put all the chips in for the cup.
The cheap KC thing to do would be to transfer Pulido. My god, that better not happen.

Yunus Musah has committed to the USMNT.

Just looked. US starts qualifying September.
Concacaf begins in like a week with their 1st round of the low end teams.

US playing Jamaica now.
Playing with the best lineup we've seen in a while, and one we will see many times in WC qualifying and in Qatar in 2022.

Yeah, only missing McKennie and Adams.
Could probably throw Weah and de la Fuente on the missing list as well

The top 3 of Pulisic, Sargent and Reyna is going to be fun to watch for the next 10 years.
But yeah, Adams and McKennie are going to be a mainstays in the middle.

Sergino Dest is going to be really special.

Good win.
Jamaica not great but the 3rd best team in CONCACAF probably.
I think you'd put pretty good odds at the men making the next cup.

I'd argue he already is.

USA's all in on the World Cup.
While it sucks we missed the Olympics, again, I've read most of our young superstars were held out by their clubs or were slated for the national team.
A few guys played in friendlies v Jamaica and Northern Ireland rather than in the Olympic final.
We cannot miss the World Cup again.

What is the roster for the Olympic squad? Seems like it's a bunch of U-21 guys while other countries like Brazil have Neymar, William, Marquinhos and others.

Yes it is. Another failure.

Really odd that one game settles it all basically. One bad game can end all chances. Just to qualify for an Olympics spot.
