Yeah, but wage supply has been suppressed by the job creators for decades under the pretenses that what’s best for rich folks is best for everyone, those workers don’t deserve better pay, those jobs are so easy even a kid could do it, etc.

Though, fwiw, there’s been reports that the average restaurant worker wages recently surpassed $15/hr for the first time in Merican history, and yet somehow the entire economy didn’t collapse like we was told it would, so maybe we’re onto something!

Huh?

You don’t think property values have any bearing on rent prices?

They do.

But that's not the same as having skin in the game.

The good news about renting is that it gives people economic mobility. Much easier to move when you don't have to sell a property to do so.

Renters bitching that property owners are selling properties for a profit sound like whiney entitled brats. I don't mean that in a rude way towards you specifically. But it isn't everyone else's duty to ensure people can afford to live anywhere they want just because.

The world doesn't owe you anything. You're not entitled to that area any more than the next rich Texan that moves there.

None of that is dehumanizing anybody.

You think you're (they're) entitled to whatever you (they) want. I don't.

I am the working class. If my area gets too expensive for me to afford then I will move. I won't whine about it and let myself be homeless out of stubbornness.

Exactly.

He thinks the government should step in and tell other people that they can't sell their property for that much because Qusdahl can't afford the area anymore and he's entitled to it because he liked it first.

I am sorry if you feel that way, but your posts and stances on the affordability of your area yesterday (and in the past) are what i have drawn my conclusions on.

Yesterday you mentioned you can't find affordable places to rent. I am telling you that is a good indicator that you don't make enough money to live where you live.

Good god dude. You bring this on yourself.

You flail around posting memes about inequality and change...then when people tey to pin you down on what you actually want you move the goal posts and pivot to some other supposed grievance. Then after all that people try and guess what your after and you pivot again all while claiming to be a victim and shaming others for supporting the capitalist rich landlords.

Its exhausting. Back to the jackhammer....its somehow less exhausting than watching you chase your self in circles
