Dude was on a 2-22 team.
Winless in the B12.

So he'll probably be happier with next year's results.

could be a nice asset off the bench.
Does this pretty much guarantee that Agbaji is going pro? this puts us one over the scholly limit.
I don't know, but I'd think it's pretty unlikely we get both Remy and Och here, so I get it. Plus, why is Cam guaranteed a scholly? That's a frickin' lotto ticket.
Do Cam, Mitch, and JCL even count against the scholarship limit? Is there even a scholarship limit for next year? Does anyone within the NCAA even know anything about how next year works, lol?

Through no fault of his own. Can shoot and score with the best in the league.

20 point on each matchup against Kansas last year.

He’s Ochai 2.0. And if Ochai is back, both of them on the floor would be great for Kansas.

He’s older than Svi. By almost an entire year.

Wait, you think this Iowa State guy is Ochai 2.0 - meaning a better/newer version of Ochai?
I think you just need to move the decimal point to the left.
Ochai .20.

Cam and JCL count against the scholarship limit. Mitch does not. Extra years count if used at a new school and don't if spent at the player's current school.

Well the answer to your last question is "no."

I know that Mitch does not count against. However, I would guess that both Cam and JCL will count against as they are going to a different program. But, who knows, and don't expect the NCAA to clarify.

And before we start comparing 3 point percentages, take a quick look to see how many per game Ochai attempted this last season, and compare to Coleman.

I guess I was under the assumption that all of the 20-21 seniors got an extra year, without using a scholarship. It would make sense for that to only be true of players staying at the same school, but at the rate seniors are transferring it makes me wonder.

147 is still a pretty good sample size. 41% on almost 400 attempts over two seasons at Illinois.

6.4 for Coleman to 6.8 for Ochai.
Better FG % for Coleman too on more shots per game. 12 to 11.5.

Coleman is better from the line. Ochai shot one more per game though.

Not saying he’s going to be like Ochai. But they’re very similar playing styles. Heavy on 3s, don’t get to the line and Ochai is the better athlete but Coleman seems to be the better shooter.

Don’t disregard him because he went to Iowa State. He’s not that bad of a player.

Just my own opinion but I never got the feeling he was coming back. This move seems to re-affirm that.
