The Witch was creepy as fuck.

Yeah, Heriditary was the best scary movie I have seen. That girl gave me the willies.

I need to re-watch Hereditary, some reason I don't remember much about it, even after watching the trailer.

PhDhawk wrote: Sat Oct 23, 2021 11:48 pm I watched Chappelle's special.

I found it neither offensive nor particularly funny. As I thought it was very similar to his last few specials.

I thought it was interesting though that on my Netflix account, the special was sandwiched between two true crime documentaries, one about a serial rapist and one about a serial killer yet the controversial content was the guy trying to make jokes.
I just watched it.
He’s still funnier than a good amount of the comics that get time on Netflix even though this is definitely not his best stuff.

He does seem to just get attached to jokes about gay people or transsexuals for a larger portion of the special and, kinda like mentioned about women comics who just talk about how hard it is to be a woman for most of the set, ( or any particular thing most of the set—ie Fred Armisens recent special about drums ) it gets stale.

Imo some of the best comedy is offensive — but you need to bounce around in an hour long special to different topics.

I didn’t find his bits about transsexuals any more offensive than the things he said about gay people, women, Jewish people, white people or black people. It’s all offensive.

Yellowstone Season 4.

Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton might be one of my favorite TV characters ever.

Here ya go. If you don't get Paramount then it is on Peacock. If you don't have then I don't know.

Best war movies:

1) The Longest Day
2) Sands of Iwo Jima
3) Not a movie but Band of Brothers
4) A Bridge Too Far
5) Midway. The real one, not the Woody Haralson one.

Sorry 99, I think the olds thought movies were closer to plays and didnt act very well. Assuming I cant count Band of Brothers

1. Saving Private Ryan
2. Platoon
3. Hurt Locker
4. 1917
5. And I know it probably doesn't deserve this but I loved it when I was younger: Gettysburg
