Dooley connection can't be a negative, can it? Although it doesn't really say anything about why he left FGCU.

He and another player got arrested for marijuana, had to pay a fine, and whatever University punishment. Both guys transferred out. When he transferred Dooley had a quote saying something like the transfer was best for both parties and he needed a fresh start. So, I guess you could read in to that either way.

Here's the article I was referencing:

Don't worry, the link doesn't contain images of sexual assault or rape, though I know that's perfectly acceptable here.

PhD - pdub has stated to you and everyone else numerous times that he doesn't "accept" nor "condone" what I had posted, realized the error/s of my way/s, almost instantly removed, and apologized for - and yet you feel the need to keep going on and on and on and on.
Trust me, pdub strongly reprimanded me and told me what I had posted would not be tolerated. He wasn't pleased at all and let it be known to me.
I respectfully responded to him. Thus, I'm still here. You don't like it. We all get it.
Unlike you, I'm above name calling and I am not telling you to kill yourself.
What I am telling you is to PLEASE give it a rest already. Not for my sake, for your's and everyone else's.
Thanks.

Gutter's post here:

Is also perfectly reasonable.

Gutter was stupid. Posted something stupid. PDub slapped his wrist. PhD can hold a grudge as long as he wants. The site is big enough for both. Freedom of speech, both Gutter and PhD's is a wonderful thing. Move on. Or, dwell on it.

Gutter has always been an ass clown. Gutter really doesn't know how to STFU.
PDub should have shut Gutter the Fuck up.
Therefore PHD can do whatever the Freak he wants to.

So back to recruiting for 2019...

Lester Quinones 6'5 shooting guard ranked 60. Maybe we could sneak in late and steal him from memphis.

Tristan Enaruna 6'9 wing. Ranked 78. We are warming up on him. Maybe a late sneak in. He'd be a good get, and we're the best of the programs in on him.

What about Kuany Kuany. 6'10 out of prolific prep. Ranked 150+. Maybe we could take a flier on him.

Taryn Todd. Findlay prep. 6'2. 100+ range. Has kstate and Missouri on his list, so we'd easily be able to steal him if we wanted. Might be a good emergency plan if Dotson stays in draft.

Also, is Charlie Moore going to sit behind Markese Jacobs at DePaul? That would be a weird turn of events.

IllinoisJayhawk wrote: Tue Apr 23, 2019 9:31 am So weird. I say something positive about mitch, and support the statement with stats that show he's a 33% career 3pt shooter....but a few need to make sure we aren't too positive about Mitch this off season.

Mitch was ranked right in the sweet spot where many want us to recruit. Multi year guy. Loves Kansas. Isn't worried about NBA....and yet many are super negative when it comes to him. Can't have it both ways. So which is it?
I am not super negative on Mitch, just on your terrible logic. You are simply applying stats poorly to draw an unreasonable conclusion.

Mitch isnt going to be one of our better three point shooters next year. Again, that isn't a knock on Mitch. He isnt a three point threat no matter his % on 30 shots in 3 seasons. He will be excellent at the things he did more than twice all season which is to have great energy, block shots, get us some extra possessions and hustle for some garbage points. This is a needed and valuable role.

Counting on Mitch to be a three point threat is silly. If he averages 1 three point attempt a game all season I would be stunned.

If he's our 4th best 3pt shooter would that make him "one of our better 3pt shooters"? Imo: yes.

I bet he makes 15-20 3pt shots next year on 40-50 attempts. Assuming he plays 25mpg.

I'm assuming you're talking about twocoach, since he's the 1 responding to posts from nearly 24hrs ago just so that he can repeat himself....again..... (but if not, and you're just here to bully, then take it to the bully thread on off topic please.)

But anyways, back on topic....

Tristan Enaruna: we've gone from out of the picture to "warm" on him according to 247. Long wing. Looks like he could really help us out, especially if we are going to play smaller, due to his height/length (he is slender and would need to bulk up, only 200ish lbs)...but he appears to have all of the skills needed to develop into an elite defender at the college level. I feel really good about our chances to land him, especially if Grimes stays in the draft, because then I think that'd open up playing time from day 1 for him to compete for....I'll try to post some of the videos I've found on the kid.

Personally I'd rather take him, who we'd have for multiple years, over a transfer who will only be here for 1 year. I just don't have faith in our ability to incorporate transfers at the moment. We've missed on several since the Tarik Black signing, who exceeded expectations and was wonderful. Obviously Dedric was awesome for us too, but I don't think there's a 3rd team AA transfer out there to get.

We need a grad transfer shooter. Rayjon Tucker from Arkansas Little Rock would be a perfect fit.

And 50 three point attempts by Mitch next year? I'd take that be all day long.

I don't think Mitch is a good three point shooter but he'll be respectable enough for you not to completely leave him alone out there.
Think Perry Ellis's junior year ( in terms of 3 point shooting, not in terms of overall skill ).
