I live in a building near Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.
There are a lot of med students who live in my building.
This may be an oxymoron but I am confident it's true - there are a lot of really fucking stupid people who are med students.
It's honestly frightening to me and for me to say that.
I'm an effing moron and I truly believe I am more intelligent than at least 25% if not 50% of the med students living in my building.
Sure they MAY be "book smart" but in the "street smart" department, some of these people make a bar of soap come off as intelligent.

Am I the only one that has a huge problem with successfully self-employed people (eg: lawn care companies, cement dudes) giving me a CASH PRICE and pushing it rather than me paying the proper taxes and writing a check/cashiers check?? Why are they so bold to assume I will support their cheating?

Anyways, last night I made the mistake of going on Facebook.
Mutual friend of the ex and I posted a pic of the ex with her current flame.
Seeing her and him made me happy.
Happy for her that she is seemingly in a happy relationship.
Happy for me that I am no longer a prisoner of her insanity and have my freedom.
Happy for neither of us that these days I am a fat slob and being that she is a very vain person, as someone else said to me, she looks weathered. Shit happens. No one gets younger.

Paul1, I’ve put some thought into a temporary cashless society. I hold some cash in small bills. My only debt is a couple of mortgages. I stock enough toilet paper and toothpaste to last awhile.

Our banks are under attack every millisecond of every day. There are bots hammering away at our door looking for a way in. Unless you are banking with some mom and pop bank, I dont worry about that scenario. It's not impossible but damn near.
