I go both ways on this.

On one hand, knowledge is power, and I prefer to have an understanding of who’s who, etc.

But on the other hand, we Mericans fought and won a war precisely so we could ignore dumb British royalty.

And if you asked 50 Americans at the mall to name all 50 states, I doubt half of them could do it. So maybe the intelligence of the American public isnt the greatest barometer of a foreign person's accomplishments.

Oh, and apparently Princess Anne's shrug was just just a "there's no more NATO leaders left to greet, it's just me" thing and not some sort of refusal to come over and greet Trump, but social media doesn't care about that...
