I only watched a couple minutes last night, and didn’t read any of this so my bad if this has been mentioned/etc.
DHop’s Remember the Titans celebration.
lol. So good.
Glad he got out and can be on a successful team. If we had pieces to use him correctly/efficiently, I’d feel different. But nah.
Yeah, that was really classy and cool. I didn't take it as a dig at Tennessee at all. Hopkins is a very well-respected player in the league and I know the Chiefs players in that locker room want to get guys like Hopkins and Hint their first Super Bowl ring. Just another thing that keeps this team hungry to win instead of being complacent.
From Hopkins this morning:
"It was a shout to Tennessee, if u know me u know it’s nothing but love for Nashville. Ran and his crew are like family. Without them, I wouldn’t be here."

Commandskins get Lattimore.
For essentially a 3rd and a 4th round pick.

I find the Cowboys’ move for whatever a Jonathan Mingo is to be hilarious. One, they’re drawing dead and spending a 4 for Mingo. Two, that’s more than we spent on Hopkins (or Ravens spent on Johnson). Three, it’s more than the Cowboys GOT for Cooper.

It's pretty bad.
But you know me, I try to see what they're thinking and, like Boles, I don't agree with the decision, but here we go:
Mingo was a high 2nd round pick last season.
Dallas picked a bit further down and maybe they had him on their draft bored.
In their minds, perhaps he's still salvageable in their system and they think the Panthers have failed utilizing him and now they have a WR they graded as a 2nd round talent for a 4th rounder, albeit a year late ( off his rookie contract ).
For instance, personally, i'd trade next years 4th rounder to get Adonai Mitchell, right now and for the rest of his contract.

No disagreement from me. But it cracks me up to no end that, just like Notre Dame football, every single year we hear about how it’s the Cowboys’ year…and (narrator voice) it is never the Cowboys’ year.

And, underscoring BOTH of our points - Veach’s track record supports trust. Jerry’s…very much does not.

I'm putting odds on Bill Belichick being next years coach and it being just another deliciously dramatic failure by "America's Team".
Jerry Jones deserves all of it.

100%.
Plus, their fan base is nauseating.

I can’t see them ever winning paying Dak what they’re paying. He’s just not good enough to have more than a Brad Johnson or Joe Flacco shot.

But another that said -- I think it might be too early to give up on Mingo.
I'd take him on this team right now...but maybe more for say a 6th.
That offense, and those QBs, are pretty trash.

No "additional" moves is all I meant.
I am really excited to see the continued building of the passing game between Mahomes, Kelce and Hopkins. I think they can really scheme up some interesting ways to use Kelce and Hopkins to get each other good looks.

JFish thinks Hollywood comes back before the regular season is over.
Pacheco definitely will be.
Omenihu might be returning before the playoffs.
JuJu should.
Hopkins, Hollywood, JuJu, Worthy ain't shabby.

I would love to see Hollywood Brown come back but I will assume he is not until I hear he is starting to practice a bit. Fingers crossed there.
Upcoming games:
Vs. Broncos
At Bills
At Panthers
Vs. Raiders
Two tougher games and two easier games.

There is a "yay, look at me I scored because you didn't cover me" aspect to today's game. Nix can only throw short stuff. Better fix that.

Now would be a good time for a turnover
