As far as comedic acting goes, Chevy Chase is #1 to me.
yeah, can’t leave him out of the convo either
shocked there isn’t more appreciation for Jerry Lewis, honestly...y’all suck
I'm sure Lobster has him high on his list.
Not for me. If there was a list of ALL the comedic actors all-time, he'd occupy the last slot.
care to expand on both sentiments?
was he an ant-vaxxer (Carrey kinda is) or conspiracy theorist?

In 1998, at the Aspen U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, when asked which women comics he admired, Lewis answered, "I don't like any female comedians. A woman doing comedy doesn't offend me but sets me back a bit. I, as a viewer, have trouble with it. I think of her as a producing machine that brings babies in the world."[92] He later clarified his statements saying, "Seeing a woman project the kind of aggression that you have to project as a comic just rubs me wrong. I cannot sit and watch a lady diminish her qualities to the lowest common denominator." Lewis explained his attitude as that of an older generation and said women are funny, but not when performing "broad" or "crude" humor.
And I don't personally find him funny, this doesn't make me laugh:

thanks...i was not aware of those comments
i guess it’s probably no different then watching old Wayne and Eastwood movies now that i have an understanding of what kind of men those actors were...or even cosby or michael jackson. heck, i won’t even buy papa johns pizza anymore because of what i know about papa himself
all that said, i still find the original Nutty Professor, and the Bellboy hilarious

No love for Chris Farley or John Candy?
They'd be pretty high on my list. Chevy too, though he's trending down not up.
Paul Rudd is quietly climbing the list.
Im really bad at actors names and eho plays in what. Who is he?

Pretty much any movie in the past 10 years has a pretty good chance of having Paul Rudd in it.

The word "perverted" gets thrown around a lot these days, but it's astonishing that ~33% of the country (and >50% of "conservatives") are really, actually going to support a legal action that is
in direct opposition to traditional "conservative" bedrock principles.

Part of any lawsuit is the depositions. When tiny realizes he is going to have to talk under oath about Jan 6, he is going to want to drop this any way he can. Forget the comedians, this is going to be funny.

Good point!
But I think think he’s bringing the the suits not based on the merits of the claim, but cuz it’s another publicity stunt fundraising opportunity

John Dean has a great strategy for the defense- don’t file a motion to dismiss. Start taking depositions and the lawsuit would get dropped.

Obviously, and the rubes will send him their money. I expect him to drop the suit at some point and just keep asking the rubes to send him funds, just in case he decides to revive it, for them of course.
