I would prefer everyone get vaxxed, but another mich post I agree with!MICHHAWK wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 12:37 pm the detroit red wings have 1 player that refuses to get vaxxed. he will not be able to travel with the team when they play in canada.
i don't care if these numbskulls get vaxxed or not. but they should not get paid for not working. just like any other numbskull that won't work.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
It's a little complicated--there's no direct vax mandate. But, if the jurisdiction of the arena requires it to play in a sports contest, and a player misses a game by violating that requirement, then that player is fined on a per game basis.
In other words, Wiggs is hurting both his team and his wallet for what he is trying to claim is a "religious" objection.
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Masks keep you from ingesting a lot of virus, even if not 100-percent impervious. High viral loads in close confines are tough for a body to combat and seem to make recipients sicker:
The seriousness of symptoms from viral infections is often due directly to the amount of the virus that gets into your body. In addition, studies on two previous coronaviruses (SARS and MERS) showed people exposed to higher loads got sicker.
And yet here we are. Anti-vaxx and Anti mask idiots complaining about their right to spread disease.

no, it was response to my post where you claimed it almost ruined Wiggs for you. I stated that I think thats silly.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 12:38 pmYour OP of the news story was more than fine to post, that's not the post that precipitated this exchange.TDub wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 12:33 pmnot attacking you personally...just tired of the whole mindset of division.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 12:16 pm
Sorry for the confusion. I suppose it stems from me wondering why you'd take issue with whether or not I like an athlete.
I actually don't think you do--rather, it just seems more in line with you attacking me at every chance because you happen to disagree with some opinions I have made in this particular thread. We disagree on some things. Cool, no issue.
I only posted it because all I ever hear here is that only southern Maga trumpers are leery of the vaccine and any other statement about other, normal people, being hesitant or making different health decisions, is a false declaration made by idiots
Just Ledoux it

A personal boycott is not cancel culture. Applebee's isn't being canceled because I don't go there to eat their microwaved appetizers.randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:04 pmCancel culture is dumb. fake outrage is possibly the most nauseating by-product of the social medias. the whackjobs spend all day on their social medias pretending to be outraged. i see it here all day every day.

I guess I don't understand religious exemption. Where does the bible say thou shalt not get a vaccine?
Defense. Rebounds.

It's ridiculous and undermines a legitimate religious exemption.
I'd also be absolutely shocked if Wiggins hasn't taken dozens of injections over his career for the smallest amount of pain.

why is your decision to rail against vaccines and the severity ok, but mine to not give patronage to a business i don’t like problematic?
and again, why won’t you tell us where you get your information? what are hiding, or ashamed of?

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
You have many posts that state you won't patronize any business that has its own independent mask mandate.
Spend your money wherever you want for whatever reason, but your stance is no different from tradition's.
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
that has nothing to do with politics. it has everything to do with me doing everything the man has asked of me. now i'm done with the mans mandates.
i'm an adult. i don't deal in fake outrage like the rest of you.

wut?
If a religion doesn't allow for vaccines is that any different than Muslims not eating pork/requesting halal food?

No, the point being is that Wiggins is not part of any such religion. He's full of shit--he's, after all this time, just now bringing up the religion thing bc it's the only legal way out of it.pdub wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 2:07 pm"undermines a legitimate religious exemption"CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:22 pmIt's ridiculous and undermines a legitimate religious exemption.

You don't go to businesses that make decisions you don't agree with.
Completely fine, most people do stuff like that, including trad.
