I think Mondesi's injury history should now change the Royals' approach with Witt. Unless Witt gets too big for SS, I think SS needs to be his and his alone, as soon as he's ready. There just seems to be no point in counting on Mondesi to be available.

I don't think he's soft and I don't think he doesn't care. I just think there's something physically wrong, where he just can't avoid soft tissue injuries.

Doesn't make him a bad guy, but it means you now prioritize Witt's development, and whatever you get from Mondesi is great to have.

I agree Fish. But it does seem like every great play he makes equals a 15 Day DL. He hurt himself on a catch last time I got to see him in person.
