why do i have to declare publicly my vaxx status. why does anybody have to declare publicly their vaxx status.
why did lebron james have to hold a press conference yesterday to declare publicly his vaxx status.
You don't have to declare publicly your vax status - but why wouldn't you?
I don't feel anyone should have to publicly declare their vax status - but why wouldn't they want to?
As far as your LeBron question - A) He didn't hold a press conference to declare his vax status and B) I assume you must not be aware of the current "rules" and "mandates" for NBA players and the cities they play in. Is that a safe assumption?
are all nba players going to hold a press conference to declare their vaxx status.
i watched lb's press conference. my take away was he did not want to get the vaxx. he got it because he had to. which is fine. but i did not get the feeling he would have gotten the shot if his employer did not force him to.
I don't have the answer to your first question (?).
LeBron didn't hold a press conference to declare his vax status. He was asked about it at the TEAM'S "media day".
He didn't "have" to get vaccinated.
My guess is he preferred not to get vaccinated but did as such for the reasons he mentioned.
“I know I was very skeptical about it all, but after doing my research and things of that nature, I felt like it was best suited not only for me but for my family or for my friends."

I don't watch much Tucker but i have seen him reference that he is vaccinated numerous times on his show.
Serious questions. Numerous times? Really? Would you give me $1000 if I could prove he hasn't "numerous times"?
I won't pay you anything, but i have literally watched/heard him say he's vaccinated. So don't waste your time.
Ok, then I have a no lose offer for you. I will donate $50 to the charity/cause of your choice if you can show me two instances (you said "numerous times") of him doing as such.
Get on it!

No, this isn’t whataboutism.
Overwhelmingly it’s only one side being assholes and fucking it up for everybody.
It's not though.
You do realize black and hispanic communites, who largely vote Dem, have low vaccination rates, right?
Actually this is verifiably false. Kaiser Family Foundation released a study yesterday which showed that nationally the adult vaccination rate is around 72% and the rates for whites, blacks and Hispanics were within a percent of each other. However the partisan split is starker. Dems are 90% while Reps are 58%.
Link?
"While as of September 21, 2021, White adults accounted for the largest share (60%) of unvaccinated adults,1 Black and Hispanic people remain less likely than their White counterparts to have received a vaccine, leaving them at increased risk, particularly as the variant spreads. However, the data show that these disparities are narrowing over time, particularly for Hispanic people"

I must have missed the box where i was supposed to declare my political affiliation when i was vaccinated....

I saw a survey about a month ago which had a huge fully vaxxed split between Biden voters and Trump voters. Which, that would seem to make more sense than a straight DEM vs. GOP split.

i'm fully vaxxed. never once during the process was i asked to declare my affiliations.
in my day to day, almost never am i asked to declare my vaxx status. in my day to day, almost never do i ask others to declare their vaxx status.

Excerpts:
Similar shares of Hispanic (73%), Black (70%), and White (71%) adults now report having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, a change from earlier in the vaccination effort when Black and Hispanic adults were much less likely to report being vaccinated than White adults, and reflecting other data showing that people of color make up a disproportionate share of recent vaccinations.
The largest remaining gap in vaccination rates is by partisanship, with 90% of Democrats saying they have gotten at least one dose compared to 68% of independents and 58% of Republicans. In addition, large differences in self-reported vaccination rates remain between older and younger adults, between those with and without college degrees, and between those with higher and lower incomes, while rural adults continue to lag behind those living in urban and suburban areas.

luckily for the United States of America we won't have that issue in 2024.

Are those survey numbers or actual statistics?

So survey numbers?

Survey. However, the numbers you have are accurate as corroborated by the numbers in June. Just that recently the reality has changed. If you want to nitpick to make you feel better about your narrative have at it by all means.

How could you have "actual statistics" of anything beyond hard demographic data? That'd like having "actual statistics" of what vaxxed versus unvaxxed had for breakfast last Tuesday.

well, if i look at the scorecard today and compare to a year ago, i am in a really good place. schools are open and in-person. youth athletics are up and running. enhanced unemployment benefits have expired. people have to pay the rent again. my 401k is alright.
things are good. so we can say no one side is phucqueing up anything for anyone. things are good.

I see dozens of empty victories around here on the daily. Usually in the form of tweets or gotcha articles.

100,000+ Americans have died
since the time the vaccine was available to everyone 16+.

believe them.)

Actually they don’t. At the very least “one side is f-ing it up more than the other side”. But “feelings”! Like I said whatever makes you feel good.

I agree that the republican side is fucking it up more than the dem side. And that the unvaxxed side is fucking it up more than the vaxxed side. But to some extent we are all responsible for "fucking it up" unless we are sheltering in place or testing daily to make sure we aren't infected (which probably none of us are).
The only people who can't spread the virus are those who aren't infected with the virus. If you're vaxxed and doing risky activities and exposing others then i blame them equally as much as unvaxxed who are being more cautious by avoiding social gatherings altogether.
People spreading the virus is the problem regardless of vaccination status imo. Personally, i don't think it's okay for vaccinated people to spread the virus either.
