I've stayed out of this one for a long time, but just for the record, Ousdahl did not suggest this conspiracy. You took it out of context and lost your fucking mind about it.

The power of a thread. Trumpers unite!TDub wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 10:17 am I see more republican stuff and trump stuff posted here than I do anywhere on the news. If you stop seeking out things you dont like, your stress and anger levels will lessen and your outlook on life will improve. Focus on things in your own life, your own community and your immediate needs and concerns. People must be incredibly bored to go proactively search out things from afar to stoke the flames of anger.
I was gonna suggest, based on a couple prima facie arguments:BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:30 amLOL
And American democrats aren't? Give me a fucking break. I heard for 4 years the Trump was planted in office by Putin. That is was misinformation about Hillary that influenced people on the left to not vote for her.
I think there is ample evidence that people being susceptible to misinformation isn't a 1 party issue.

- Conservatives are more likely to be religious. And much of the religious experience is this idea of faith over reason. So of course they’re more prone to believing shit that fits their world views cuz of a gut feeling, rather than some objective verification, or whatever.
- take “conservative” at face value. They may be literally more likely to try to conserve their view of the world, rather than be more open to some bigger picture.

He’s convinced his ignorant view is more sound than actual published scientific studies. It’s no different than randy/lobs and covid. It’s no different than MICH and Michigan water quality.
Notice how none of the aforementioned ever provide anything other than their own opinion to support their premise? It’s because actual facts don’t support their view.
I already pointed out a difference between leftists and liberals. This applies even more so to leftists and democrats.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:52 amLOLousdahl wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:50 amI was gonna suggest, based on a couple prima facie arguments:BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:30 am

it is blatantly obvious that when you think about the "left" you only think about white people.
There are a fucking shit load of democrats who are black/hispanic/minority who are extremely religious.

The most loyal block of dem voters are black females. 80% of african Americans identify as religous. 60-70% of hispanics vote dem. 83% of hispanics identity as religious.ousdahl wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 12:02 pmI already pointed out a difference between leftists and liberals. They don’t seem to wanna march to the same drum. Certainly not like the GOP and far righties do together.
But thanks for bringing up that stat, about religious minorities among the Democratic Party. Did you happen to look up the numbers? Can we break down the data on that, or should we just take your word on the gut instinct that it’s a fucking shit load?
And - speaking of black/Hispanic/minorities, how well are they represented among the far right?
Besides Clayton Bigsby.
