Pity the Demonrat

Post by dolomite »

who runs against Trump in 2020. Who will it be Spartacus, Pocahontas,Kampala Harris,or creepy porn lawyer Avenatti? LOL.
Who among them understands economics and negotiation with foreign leaders? Try replacing Trumps name with any of the above with headlines such as “Trump Gets Oil Traders Attention Over Call With Saudi King” or “Trump says U.S., Canada Are Said to Close In on NAFTA Deal This Weekend so it can be signed by Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto before he leaves office”. Or “Trump this week harshly criticized globalism in general and questioned America’s participation in multilateral institutions like the WRO”.
See what I mean?

Trump got oil traders' attentions? Great. How have oil prices been over the course of his presidency? Inflation? National deficit?

For all the bragging the Trump folk do about the stock market under him, it might be worth noting that the oil futures have beaten the S&P 500 the last couple years.

Sanders probably has the best chance. Warren is probably the only person I could see other than Sanders.

If this economy crashes (like many expect it will), Trump is going to be blamed for it, even though it's a much more complex problem than what our president can control. Trump would have been better off not bragging about this economy, which is being held up by air.

I'm pretty sure dolo is trolling but if he/she is trying to be serious, then here folks is yet another perfect example of the possibly intelligent being - well - I don't know but I'm shaking my head in amazement.

lobster - Let me guess, you were high as a kite at 1:39am on 10/1/18. Sanders? Really? a 79 year old bat shit fucking crazy Sanders (who couldn't get the 2016 nomination over Hillary)?
Well, crazier things have happened. Right?
I laughed my ass off when people said they thought Trump would be our next President. I'm not laughing now.
We live in an extremely fucked up country when Donald Trump was elected President and people are having a difficult time trying to figure out who if anyone could beat him in the 2020 election.

Warren who lied repeatedly and publicly about being Native American to get educational advantages and advance her career? Not a chance.

Really? "Not a chance"?
Obama lied "repeatedly and publicly" about being born in the United States and he became President. Right?
He's not really Black either. Or wait, is he not really White?
Whichever helped get him "educational advantages" (in to Harvard) and "advance (his) career" (become President) is what he really is.

Bernie's too old and weird, but if somebody with a little charisma could figure out how to run on a left-wing populist platform, they'd be a shoo-in.

Good to hear that having a President who doesn't lie is important to you. Oh wait...

You don't research things very well, do you? He was forced out. He could have beat Trump, pretty easily. No one was excited about Clinton, and that's a big reason why Trump won.

Heck, even Bill couldn't get excited about Dowdy, and that dude would hump just about anything with a pulse.

The democrats are eventually going to need to distance themselves from these race-obsessed people who think all whites are privileged, as well as distancing themselves from the feminists and the idea that "women are oppressed in America". Most voters can see through the bullshit of these complaints, and they need to focus on the real issues.

I would like to know how women are oppressed in America. They have arguably more rights than men in the US. More women attend college than men, women graduate at a higher rate, have higher salaries when in their 20's, etc, etc. However, I do agree that they do need help in other countries. Wanna see a real patriarchy? Check out how women are treated abroad in the middle east. That's where we really need equal rights, not here. It is America and western countries that have done the most to promote women's rights and equal rights.

Why don't you point out how I'm wrong rather than posting some silly response. I'm not a republican or democrat. Extremists on both sides are dragging this country off a cliff.

^^^^^ Truth. At some point you have to take responsibility for your own life and your own happiness. If you can't find opportunity and hope here, you sure as heck aren't going to find it anywhere else.
