Is KSU actually good, or is it just a down year in Big 12?

kstate will be damn good. A top 15-20 team all year.
Every starter returns. Only have to replace one rotation guy.
But still about 3 steps behind Kansas.

kstate was good last year. they made the elite 8. they return basically their whole team. they were one of the best defensive teams in the nation last year. brown wade and sneed are all potential all big 12 selections.
you could make an argument for them being better than us lol. we only return 2 starters.
but we know better than that we have a ton of talent with our incoming freshman, transfers becoming eligible, and young players ready to step up

Weber will find a way to screw it up, as always.

Help me out. What does he always screw up?
For shits and giggles I decided to look up his NCAA Tournament history and one could argue he's a pretty darn good tournament coach.
02 - 11 seed. Beat a 6 and 3 seed. BETTER than expected.
03 - 11 seed. Lost by 1 to a 6 seed. SAME as expected.
04 - 5 seed. Beat a 12 seed and beat a 4 seed. BETTER than expected.
05 - 1 seed. Lost in the National Championship game. SAME (if not BETTER) than expected.
06 - 4 seed. Lost to a 5 seed by 3. WORSE than expected.
07 - 12 seed. Lost by 2 to a 5 seed. SAME as expected.
09 - 5 seed. One of 3 5 seeds that lost to a 12 seed. WORSE than expected.
11 - 9 seed. Beat an 8 seed. BETTER than expected.
13 - 4 seed. Lost to a 13 seed. WORSE than expected.
14 - 9 seed. Lost to an 8 seed that made it to the Final Four. SAME as expected.
17 - Won a play in game as an 11 seed and beat an 11 seed. Lost as an 11 seed to a 6 seed. SAME as expected.
18 - 9 seed that made it to the Elite 8. BETTER than expected.
4 Better
5 Same
3 Worse
Put that tournament history up against every other coach since 02 and let me know how that works out for you. My guess is Weber > 50%+.
Anyways, this season is now going to be considered a failure if Weber doesn't get his team to the Elite 8 again. Which is funny because people will ignore that is was a pretty darn good accomplishment by him to get his overachieving team to the Elite 8 in 18.

He will always be HC of the #2 or #3 program in Kansas. For the people in Manhattan, that is a burr under their saddle that won’t go away. Anything less than beating KU all three times is considered an abject failure.

Then no doubt Bruce Potsie Weber (and his team/s) are a failure.

It is s down year in the Big12. I will not be surprised if Kansas has zero losses in conference.

Seriously?
Last place is the last looser, also known as pdub.
Third place is the second looser, fourth place is the third looser, etc.

I think Weber is better than we think he may be. KSU for couple first votes.
