Petrino might be available soon. He is in a big jam at Louisville, they will owe him like 12 mil and they are looking for the cash to get it done. He can win and win at a high level. Keep him away from the young ladies and motorcycles. He had Arkansas a power when he left. Had UL close to the football FF. This season has been wreck. I would think he can recruit better at KU. Hell, go all in and hire Tom Jurich as AD. He will get the football stadium up to par and build whatever facilities are needed for other sports.

Absolutely agree.
Terry Allen genuinely tried but was in over his head, kind of like Beaty.
Weis almost seemed to be trying to crater the program out of spite.
Gill was/is a decent coach and was trying but had too deep of a hole to dig out of in the time he was given.
Beaty is well-intentioned but clueless. Lost complete respect for him when going through the recruiting process with my older son. Utter incompetence.

If they really do bring in Miles, I hope he is actually interested in building a program and not killing time until retirement.
