the buffoon embarasses and gets the boot.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Acosta's tweet in a statement, claiming the suspension of his press credentials stemmed from his "placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern." She called the behavior "absolutely unacceptable."

Love it. Acosta has been too big for his britches for awhile now.

This is like arresting a parent for disciplining their misbehaving toddler in public.

I saw the video. No hands were placed on anyone. Sarah is using alternative facts again. No real surprise.

Yeah, but that's only cuz you watched the wrong video.

You need to watch the one that Infowars doctored.

Is that the one where Acosta takes out the intern with a roundhouse kick?

No, it's the one where he grabs her by the pussy.

... The edited video looks authentic: Acosta appeared to swiftly chop down on the arm of an aide as he held onto a microphone while questioning President Trump. But in the original video, Acosta’s arm appears to move only as a response to a tussle for the microphone. His statement, “Pardon me, ma’am,” is not included in the video Sanders shared.

Critics said that video — which sped up the movement of Acosta’s arms in a way that dramatically changed the journalist’s response — was deceptively edited to score political points. That edited video was first shared by Paul Joseph Watson, known for his conspiracy-theory videos on the far-right website Infowars.
A side-by-side video is in the link.

I haven't seen the edited versions, so I can only comment on the original.

The real question is why was he tussling with the intern in the first place? He was told repeatedly to hand it over; she held out her hand for it; she placed her hand on it and attempted to pass it on to the next reporter in the queue.

Adults understand that we take turns and that, when our turn is over, we go to the next person, not clutch the microphone harder, talk faster and louder, and ask more aggressive and disrespectful questions.

Acosta has been acting childishly for two years now. If he had the capacity to feel shame, he would be embarrassed by his own antics, but the brainwashing has removed all traces of that from him. I hope they don't allow him back.

If I'm not mistaken. Everyone was getting to ask their questions and then follow-up questions. Once he got his original question answered, Trump said no more, and then Acosta seemed to say but everyone else has gotten their turn to ask all their questions.

Then that's when intern came over and he wasn't backing down and then that's when the doctored video came out showing him chopping the interns arm off basically.

Acosta is an ass and a popinjay.

And he was wrong in this instance.

But that doesn't mean that the Trump team is right. Clearly, they aren't.

anyone remember a time when "Press is the Enemy of the People" POTUS would be a nonpartisan cause for concern?

Acosta forfeited his right to continue when he started the partisan antics. His questions were answered.

Watch the video closely. The intern reaches twice with her right hand. Each time Acosta turns his body away to brush her off. She then reaches with her left hand and grips the mic. He tries to turn away again, then lays his claw on her arm while pulling away with his other hand.

He doesn't chop her, but he touches her without consent. More importantly, he is being childish and unprofessional. If he had a boss other than George Soros, he would have been reassigned or fired long ago. His presence in the White House press pool is a professional courtesy that requires professional courtesy in return. He stopped doing his part a long time ago.

He does come off as an ass. But I also think it's because he asks tough questions and doesn't back down. No matter the circumstances or setting. It's also been blown up because Trump administration acts like children when it comes to media and press. Acosta, April Ryan and many others don't do themselves any favors by acting the same way.

Frustrating to see every single day. Acosta will probably have his badge back by the end of the week.

I agree that Trump is responding childishly. I appreciate Sarah Sanders' calm professionalism, and I am sure that is why she deals with them more often than not. I also agree that it is frustrating to see a protracted game of "Gotcha" day in and day out.

I would like to see them refuse to take any more questions from Acosta moving forward, should he get his credentials back. He is a grandstanding turd.

2020 hopefully?

Again, trump doing childish shit doesn't excuse others from doing childish shit. Both are wrong.

He was elected, bro. We want him there.
