For those of you who on the 11/18 questions of the day said you would prefer to have a sit down with me over the other choices I listed, I am flattered but I have to question your sanity. You can see/read my drivel on here and that wouldn't scare you away?

1) I love my family, I do not like Thanksgiving "dinner". I'm not going to elaborate on why I dislike Thanksgiving other than to say it's just an extremely unpleasant overall experience for me.
Last night I was talking to a shrink and she said, you are hardly alone in terms of not liking Thanksgiving.
No shit Sherlock (right?) and that doesn't really comfort me.
Anyways, on a scale of 0-100 (0 being the worst day/evening/meal of the year and 100 being the best day/evening/meal of the year) rate your Thanksgiving meal and consider all the things involved.

2) I work in a building in which a new food "hall" https://chicago.eater.com/2018/8/22/177 ... f-november is opening up in the very near future.
The past few days (Thursday, Friday, Yesterday) they have been giving out free meals to get all the kinks out of the system/s and to incite/excite people in to trying their options. The consensus among/st co-workers is very interesting. I would say 90% of the people who tried a meal on Friday thought their meal/s were excellent. Yesterday it seems less than 50% thought their meals were even very good let along excellent.
I am convinced the day of the week (Friday -people tend to be in a better mood than on Monday) and the novelty of a free meal wearing off had more to do with the differing of opinions between the 2 days than the actual food taste did.
Agree or disagree?

3) The past 6 months or so I have communicated with many women from my past. There are some who are very much single and who are still extremely attractive to me. Most do not live in the Chicago area but some do. I am in no way looking for a marriage partner at this time but am very much looking for attractive women to "hang out" with. Being that I am new to the dating scene I can use some advice from unbiased people. Of course it depends on the woman and the guy but in general/on average - if a 50 something year old single guy asks a 30, 40, 50 something year old single woman if she would let to get together and have dinner and they get together and have dinner together and have a nice conversation but that's it and the evening is over, on a scale of 0-100 (0 being absolutely without question 0% chance and 100 being absolutely without question 100% yes) if the WOMAN sends the guy a text message on another evening/morning at 12:30am asking him what he is doing and if he would like to "hang out" - is she looking to "hook up"?

4) I had a conversation with my new Internist in regards to my wanting to lose about 20 pounds.
I have had medical "experts" tell me different things in the past when it comes to weight loss.
The biggest divide has been in terms of goals. Some say do NOT set a specific goal in terms of the exact amount of weight I would like to lose and by a specific date because it can be overwhelming and if I fall off pace I will become discouraged. Others have told me to absolutely have a specific amount of weight and a date as a goal. So I fully admit I am confused in that regard.
My question to you is....
A) Better to have a specific amount of weight and a date as a goal?
B) Better NOT to have a specific amount of weight and a date as a goal?

5) Assuming you are not a fan of any of these teams/schools but you have to wear a hat from 8:00am to 8:00pm tomorrow - which hat do you choose?
a) Chicago Bears
b) UCLA
c) Toronto Maple Leafs
d) New Orleans Pelicans
e) Pittsburgh Pirates
f) Oregon
g) Washington Redskins
h) Carolina Hurricanes
i) Milwaukee Bucks
j) Baltimore Orioles

1) Just my wife and youngest daughter for T-Day this year. 50
2) Dunno
3) Probably, but what do I know about dating, I've been married for 30+ years
4) Dunno
5) Pelicans. (I like New Orleans in general) Washington would need to change their name before I wore anything from them.

My answers.....

1) 8
2) Agree
3) My case - 4. Pretty much everyone else - 86.666.
4) A
5) I can't chose A (Bears) because I am a fan nor can I choose B (UCLA). I'll go with either C (Leafs) or F (Oregon). I guess if I have to pick one I go with the Leafs due to color choices.

2. Uhhhhhh

3. I guess. I'm so far out of the dating scene and all the games that are played.

4. Probably A. But that's also easy to get discouraged. I set a goal to lose weight a while, but ended up gaining a few pounds because of muscle gained when doing workouts and all that.

5. F. Oregon. That is kind of my second college team. Been riding with them for at least 10 years now. When Dennis Dixon was the QB in 2007. Really liked their team and the colors/uniforms. Still have an Oregon shirt I wear at least once a week.

1. mid 20s.
2. agree as a whole, unless there's some obvious other factor at play e.g. maybe the next day was a whole new menu and peeps just weren't digging the chowder.
3. when gutter hears that hotline bling, it can only mean one thing! Actually there's a chance. Sorry to go all breakfast pastry but I'll call it a solid 50/50 shot. If/when it happens again just playfully call her out and just ask if it's a booty call
4. specific weight can be among goals, but I'd factor in some other goals too. Maybe you want to be able to jog a certain distance, or fit into a certain pair of skinny jeans, or just try to incorporate more greens and less grease into your diet. There's a lot of ways you can frame it.
5. Oregon! Beaverfever would be so pissed lol

3. Since you are only looking for sex right now, why aren’t you using apps that clarify that for both parties? I’m told that as long as you don’t say you are looking for a long term relationship, it means you are looking for sex.
4. B
5. I am not a fan of any of those teams. Because of where I live, I’m not going to choose a college, NFL, or NHL team. I will go with the orioles hat, But not one with the silly bird.

I'm spending it with just my wife, which is why I gave it such a high score.

If there were more people, the number would go down.

Good point, but I'll be missing my oldest daughter and maybe that guy she married.
