Geezer: you're an idiot.

Ousie: Amember when Obama rhetorically attacked SCOTUS while the Justices were seated in the front two rows of SOTU and all the Dems stood up and cheered?

but for real, DC, I’m not familiar with the Obama sotu incident. If you’d be so kind as to provide context, please do.

As for context to OP:

"We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges," Roberts said in a statement. "What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them."

"That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for," Roberts said. Roberts has never responded to any president so directly and publicly before.

Roberts is right in theory and literally lol-orific in practice.

He's a Bush-appointed judge whose vote upheld the most Republican-hated thing of the last 10+ years. He makes his own argument true.

Has anybody in this thread actually appeared before a Federal judge?

Ripping a decision to remove long-established legal barriers that prevented corporations and unions from spending unlimited sums of money to influence voters in political campaigns is not quite the same as ripping a Supreme Court judge for saying that judges are independent of politics.

Talking about the principle here, subject matter not important.

George Conway talking about reversals of appellate court decisions, defends Ninth Circuit. I don't believe he mentions subject matter, dolomite.

A day earlier he [Trump] slammed the court because its decisions are “overturned more than any circuit in the country, 79%.”

Conway noted in a tweet that an average of 74 percent of all court rulings across the nation reviewed by the Supreme Court were overturned last year. He said the rates are generally high because the top court specifically picks rulings it’s more likely to overturn.

Seems to be the answer to just about everything this President says and does.

"It's the message, not the words" and "It's the principle, not the subject matter." have been spoken and written more in the last 2 years in regards to this President than in any other time that I can remember.
