I had the pleasure of meeting Sir Charles in Miami in December of 1990.
One of the genuine kindest and most approachable athletes I have ever met.
Have spoken with him several times since then.
I'm no Lin Wang but as crazy as this story may seem to some, it doesn't shock me at all.
This is an example of who/what I feel and like to believe Chuck is as a person.

Barkley is awesome. I talked to him in a hotel bar in Portland. Dude is down to earth, nice, real and awesome. Even bought me a beer.

no doubt charles barkley is being payed handsomely. but that show is unwatchable. and he is out of his element. the chemistry between those two is a zero.

but. one the flip side. ernie and kenny and clark and charles is as good as it gets. it doesn't get any better.
