I think bernie is a good guy....but very old. I don't agree with all of his ideas, but I think he's well intentioned.

Joe Biden is maybe the best of that list.

Come 2020, Joe Biden will be 78. Bernie will be 79.

Can we please at least get someone who isn't such a geezer?

It will be interesting to see. Would love to see a poll here of who everyone feels us the most electable Democrat.

Our last 3 democratic presidents have been 2 southern dems and a black guy. So while I think there are a few women and northeastern white guys who will stick around deep into the process, it remains to be seen if they can pull enough votes to win.

We are really just choosing from who? I think the only serious candidates are Biden, Gillibrand, Sanders, Warren, Booker and O'Rourke. Warren bugs me, Sanders is too far left and Biden probably isnt left enough. The pool shrinks.

I've asked this before, but, who is the libtard equivalent to Trump?

e.g. some celebrity outsider who can overcome doubters and appeal to a certain base enough to get some momentum?

my money is on Gillibrand

not my choice, per se, but she seems the most “electable” at this point...whatever that means

Bernie and Biden are both too old, and the others aren’t well-known enough or have too much baggage

O’Rourke might be a dark horse though

Gillibrand has a Clinton problem.

Who can match Trump's unending abrasive twitterisms?

Warren is out.*

Gillibrand is out.*

Sanders has a Ted Devine problem.
And a lot of former Sanders voters who've decided they really don't like him.

Is Biden making a deal with O'Rourke? A lot of Democrats are talking about a Biden-O'Rourke ticket.

*Based on what other Democrats are saying about them.

I listened to her appearance on the Van Jones show and she seems pretty genuine. I worry that anyone from upstate New York will be viewed with some skepticism by Dems in the midwest and south. Maybe if she put O'Rourke on the ticket as her VP to appeal to that audience. Not sure.

And I agree with Biden that his resume is the most qualified. I just don't vote on that. He doesnt appeal to me as a choice at all.

Stop being that guy.

I would love to see a GOP candidate that can stop this madness.

Gillibrand angered the folks who believed Al Franken was the best Democratic senator maybe ever in history. There are very large numbers of them in the Democratic base.

Warren seems to have dimmed her luster with the base with her inability to answer the Pocahontas smears.

I wish there were some Dem. governor out there with sufficient charisma to get the nomination. Or that Ted Lieu could run.
