Also, I totally fucked up....it wasn't pelosi, it was Elizabeth Warren who was pronoucning hurricanes as "hurricuns" on CNN last night. It was bizarre. She was in Puerto Rico campaigning (unofficially).

Although it's entirely possible her tribe of native Americans pronounces hurricanes in a different way, so maybe it's just her native American accent.

Illini - I actually saw/heard Warren speak about Puerto Rico while in Puerto Rico. Not too sure why she struggled with the pronunciation of hurricane/s but I do know that she is a lot more intelligent than I am.
Not that you need an example of how dumb I am - but I was wondering what Warren's true purpose was to visit Puerto Rico - and I am going to admit that I completely forgot that the residents of Puerto Rico do not get a vote in the Presidential election.
