Not related to the link, but related to your view on polls - have you ever considered actually learning about the science of polling before casting judgement on it?

Thank you for asking Mjl. I found a link that helps explain why they are not scientific. These are tried and true methods but they are far more art than science.

So, what is a scientific poll? First, it is a misnomer. There is nothing scientific about a poll. (More on that later.) Second, it is conducted using sound statistical techniques.
