I guess that's one way to ensure a Sprint Center win. Woof.

The last time we played the 'Roos, things didn't go so well.

(At least I think it was the last time we played them)

That is a hearty non-conf schedule.

That's a pretty bad schedule, until you start filling in some Q1 and Q2 Maui teams. Really hope we don't end up on the Chaminade side of the bracket.

Even the Maui field seems a little weaker than usual outside of Michigan State.

Makes you wonder how much say Larry Keating had in this schedule.

Of course, schedules aren't made on accident. Maybe Bill will be trying some new stuff out this non-con.

I don't know that 3 grueling games in Hawaii is what Udoka needs right away, or at all. Maybe an easier side isn't so bad.

East Tennessee State should be decent and Colorado should be a NCAA tourney team next year.
But UMKC, Monmouth, Milwaukee and UNC Greens'bro are throw aways.

We should also keep in mind there's like a 99% chance that the SEC game will be Kentucky in AFH.

For some reason I was thinking it was most likely not UK this year?

I could see Auburn...

UK hasn't been to AFH since 2016.

We played at Rupp last year without an AFH return trip tied to it. It would actually make no sense for it not be UK in AFH.

Which, IMO, it should be UK vs. KU in every year that is not the Champions Classic matchup.

So...Duke's starting lineup will be Jones and their 4 freshmen recruits right?

Gotta think it favors us in game #1 when your opponents starts 4 frosh and one soph.

I just want Udoka and De Sousa to slam it all over Matthew Hurt and for him to foul out and cry on the bench.

Is that too much to ask for?

Is Vernon Carey any good though? He might actually be able to match up with Dok, SDS, and McMack...course there's only one of him and we got 3 big bigs.

Remember Bragg Montana?
I want that, with Udoka, on Hurt.
He'll collapse like a toothpick.

I am hoping I can score some seats for the Stanford game - probably already sold out. Went to the game in 2010 when KU was last in the Bay Area, at Cal. I think they played Stanford in Sacramento a couple of years ago

Wish Champions game was on a Thursday rather than a Tuesday -- taking off three days as opposed to one to make the New York trip isn't gonna happen.
( NFL competition I get it )
