Anyone have, or have experience with, this brand?

https://www.amazon.com/Arcade-1Up-Golde ... 324&sr=8-5

https://www.amazon.com/Arcade1Up-Street ... ls-20&th=1

https://www.amazon.com/Arcade1Up-Cabine ... 324&sr=8-6

I understand they're 3/4 scale, but (a) I have three medium-to-small kids, and (b) Jesus, they seem like they get the job done for 1/10 the cost of buying the (old) authentic machines. Thinking about putting them in an open area in my basement.

Nice, using the kids as excuse.

You have no idea just how ok I am with that. You will note that two of them (the two that possess an understanding of birthdays) have birthdays coming up in the next several weeks.

Although using his kids as proxies to satisfy his gaming obsession might border on despicable, if Fish is wise, he'll set it up so it's $0.25 per game, make his kids do chores to earn an allowance, teach them the value of $ in the process, and salvage a modicum of virtue from the plot.

If I were really wise, I'd get at least two and make one some weird amount per play ($0.17?), and the other based on time ($1.32 per one-tenth-of-an-hour?). Think of the math I could force them to learn!

That puts my suggestion to shame, dammit!

Played a couple the other day, major nostalgia, especially after watching Stranger Things.

And build quality seemed acceptable? Not going to fall apart in six weeks?

I can't say one way or the other, they were on display at a men's clothing store.
