Nintendo Switch
I picked one up yesterday because I have some international flights coming up. Figured out pretty quickly that I won't be using this much at all if not on a plane, but it should be a pretty great time-waster for travel.
Any game/app recs? Preferably something that can be beaten in 10-20 hours of gameplay? Or something that would be good to play at home to get more use out of this thing?
Will be grabbing Breath of Wild, of course. I usually do sports games, but I've heard they don't translate well to the Switch.

Re: Nintendo Switch
I think Mario Maker 2 probably has the best bang-for-the-buck.
Re: Nintendo Switch
I miss the wii but know after 3 hours of playing it, the novelty would wear off again.
At the time ( 2006-2007? ) it was the coolest.
But I soon switched back to more robust games with either better stories or better realism.
i.e.
Madden sucked on the Wii.
And Last of Us 2 isn't making it onto the Switch anytime soon.

Thanks for recs. These damn games are expensive.
I don't think sports sims are made for this. Ideal scenario is having PS4 Pro-quality FIFA on the Switch in both handheld and TV-mode.

the wife and i really enjoyed it, particularly all 2-player interactive options, but i’ve also got a XB1 for more robust gaming
Re: Nintendo Switch
As far as reccos, I got nothing.
I 'switched' off Nintendo to Sony ( PS3, PS4 ) after a long dedication ( NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Wii ) to Nintendo -- seemed geared towards kids.

Frogger?
Re: Nintendo Switch
Super Mario Odyssey is a great game. Top 3 all time of the Mario games.
It sounds dumb but Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fun short game.
You also got the classics like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Party.
I'm subscribed to Nintendo Online and play Tecmo Bowl all the damn time from their NES library.

Re: Nintendo Switch
Verdict: A nice niche product. Nintendo-branded games are fantastic. It's weird the concept took this long. For me, the thing will collect some dust for awhile now.
Re: Nintendo Switch
I'm not really into video games. I sometimes like to fire up porno on the plane just to see the uncomfortable reactions from my seatmate neighbors, only to usually find a couple of sexy milfs are the ones who usually cant look away.
