So much for the "good guy with a gun" theory

Post by zsn »

Last night a good guy (or several) with a gun did stop a-bad-guy-with-a-gun but the cost of that experiment was three young lives, one as young as 6!

https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2019/ ... -shooting/

This equation may be acceptable to you ammosexuals but it should be unacceptable to decent humans everywhere. I don't know what more needs to happen before the sane folks win out.

This morning was particularly emotional for me. I live about 25 miles north of where this shooting took place. My daughter and I would have been at the Festival on Saturday but we wimped out because it was going to be hotter than usual and I was tired from my trip earlier in the week. Usually as I walk out to my car in the morning I can smell the strong aroma of garlic as the cool prevailing wind blows the scent of the plants being harvested and processed. Today was different. The smell didn't bring a smile or enjoyment. I was sad. I was angry. I don't like being sad or angry. It will never be the same.

F#%$^#k your thoughts and prayers! Ban these WMD.

I lived in Gilroy for a couple of years.
Shocked to read about this last night.
