Goddamn this feels good.

Got home from the brewery with no fewer than three job offers thus far.

Now we’re sitting at home slamming coorses when a bear walks up onto the porch. A fucking bear. Just kinda waddles up and sniffs around like a curious neighborhood dog. Except thrice as big, and fucking wild as fuck.

So we yell at it and heckle it and say it can only stay if it starts shotgunning coorses to catch up. I remember why this place is worth living here and working a soul crushing job serving y’all.

Thinking bout starting a wildlife tour service. out my living room. complete with coorses.

At least you can try and hook up with that girl from work.

Damn that sucks. But that place seemed truly crazy and better to get out. Hopefully you get something again soon!

but for real, I've felt a strong sense of community so far. Last night at the brewery I ran into an old manager - the guy who hired me at the ranch, in fact. After a year he politely said fuck this place and left. He manages a restaurant now, and wants me to come tend bar for him.

This morning at the cafe, breakfast was on the house. The owner introduced me to another guest in house who happens to be the owner of another outfitter in town, so I already got another guiding gig lined up for next season.

man, I fucking love coffee and pancakes. The bitter and the sweet just go so well together. But man it can fuck with my stomach. I wanna go fishing this afternoon, but am nervous I might soil my waders.

Hang in there, in the end this will turn out to be for the best.
