Have not been on our side in a decade.

Returned tonight. Thank you Les and Dearmon.

Oddly enough some might argue Les probably makes deals with the devil.

Hire a relevant football coach, get the football gods back on your side.

You can’t wait on making some kind of move with Dearmon much longer.

Exactly. They made a quick move with Hull after recruiting. I think they’ll make a quick move with Dearmon as the year ends. He’s too good not to make a move.

And Dearmon is ridiculously more valuable than Hull.

What a damn game. Didn’t realize Ku was down 17 and still won. That tells me everything I need to know that things are changing in a positive direction.
If this continues against KSU, yeah it will be time to pony up the cash to keep Dearmon. A damn shame that Stanley was wasted for all of these years.

From Newell’s story in the Star. Les and Long talked to representatives from the Liberty Bowl. That is right. We have gotten to the point were we can have serious discussions about bowl eligibility.

Today is my 56th birthday. Until last night, I thought my ED was the natural results of late middle age. I now realize I just need a competitive KU football team.

Thanks Les Miles!

The bowl talk is a bit premature this year. I do see us winning 1 more game though. Different story if we beat Texas and CC...

I know ifs and buts....but it is conceivable that we could have pulled out wins v CCU ( man some dumb play calls ), v WVU ( bad interception on 2nd and 1 on our end of the field, 4th quarter ) and Texas ( lost in last seconds ).

We'd already be bowl eligible.

Well you really wonder what the record would be if Dearmon had the reigns all season.

I get it, though, he had no big football experience.

This play was most encouraging thing I saw last night.

Team has bought in. This play doesn't happen under previous staffs.

KU has had 5 500 yards games in Big 12 play since 2010.

Hasn't happened more than once in each season.

It's happened in back-to-back weeks this year..

Nov 2014 vs ISU - 514 yards
Sep 2017 vs WVU - 564 yards
Nov 2018 vs OU - 524 yards
Oct 2019 at Texas - 569 yards
Oct 2019 vs Tech - 527 yards

And I believe they have a great chance at doing it again this weekend.

The trio of AP, Robinson and Daylon should give the KSU secondary fits.

Looking at Robinson's bio for this year...my goodness he led all WRs against CC with four catches for 45 yards. Ughhh.

That Coastal game looms large on this season. Gross. Just gross.

But yeah AP, Robinson and Charlot are a really good trio at WR. Lassiter in the slot has been terrific as well. He's really found his stride with this RPO. He was good against BC and good against Texas and Tech. 60+ yards in all those games I mentioned.

The key for KU is containing kstate's front 7. They've been pretty good and they did well against OU. Have to get off the field on 3rd downs. Find Schoen as that seems to be Thompson's go-to.

What was so infuriating early this year was the misuse of some fine skill position players. KU has its share of backs and receivers

Contain and stop the QB run. At all hazard. Game plan 1. If KU had done that with Ehlinger and others, it would be a different season
