Rick Wilson predicts that if Trump wins in 2020, the Republican candidate in 2024 will be Donald Jr. and will be the beginning of a Trump Dynasty.

People are certainly dumb enough to let that happen.

Running Against the Devil is pugnacious and profane. Before a break so Wilson can take a call from a “tech billionaire” he’s sadly reluctant to name, he calls the president “a liar and a corrupt asshole and a scumbag”. He marvels at Trump’s graft, at the way a billionaire who claimed to be un-buyable turned out to be so cheap. He does seem to think Trump is the devil. But then, the devil gets the best lines and “plenty of smart, evil guys” are working on his re-election push.

If Obama campaigns as only he can do in American political life, that would be a meaningful lift for the Democrats. Asked which Democrat is best suited for the fight, Wilson admits to being impressed by Warren’s willingness to work hard and how she champions the little guy. But he still goes for Joe Biden.

Didn't seem so dumb when you were defending the ad he produced where veteran Max Cleland's face dissolved into that of Saddam Hussein and claiming that never happened. Of course, now that Wilson accepts responsibility for that ad, he's dumb.

He also calls out Republicans like you who've surrendered wholeheartedly to Trumpism, so he must be dumb. Sure is good at those ads, though. Helped win that Senate seat in Alabama for Democrats. Alabama?

It was dumb to think that this nation would elect Donald Trump in the first place. And yet here we are.

what's really interesting is there is a nonzero chance that the moment #45 leaves office, however that may be, he is promptly cuffed and read his rights.

I wonder how that would fare for the dynasty...

What's also interesting is that various surveys have shown over the last few months that Michelle Obama would win the Democratic nomination handily if she chose to run.

That doesn't mean she would or even that she could. It just means that people are always dissatisfied with their political options and tell other people their absurd ideas.

Most of this, though, is Wilson fretting that he'll never be back in the good graces of those who write big checks for campaign "consultants."

If I recall correctly, Egg McMuffin hasn't paid his bills yet, and I'm sure Wilson is grumpy about being relegated to the outskirts.
