While I think we can all agree that the brutal murder of a US citizen by a foreign head of State is a regrettable bit of collateral damage, let's not lose sight of the bigger picture here. I think most principled conservatives would agree that stopping Jeff Bezos liberal socialist homosexual agenda and preserving my tax cuts should take precedence over quibbling about something that is done and over.
Now can we discuss cutting SS checks so we can cut taxes further? Another tax cut would really juice my dividends. The economy is booming and generating more than enough fast food jobs to support anyone who is sucking at the government teat to get by.

(Whether Russia, or Turkey, or Saudi Arabia: When the full story is told, it will be obvious that it
has always been about the money.)
And, correlated:

Do you ever think that maybe you might be reading things written by people intentionally trying to manipulate and enrage you?
People who have, in fact, admitted that that was their primary media relations goal when they were in the White House?

Well, if the
Republican staff of the House Oversight Committee, a committee with stalwarts of impartiality and objective integrity like ranking member Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows could find
no improprieties, I guess that settles it.

The Democrats didn't even bother.
More to the point, you should ask yourself, "why am I reading this now?"

in light of the reputational toll that recent republican chairmen Daryl Issa, Jason Chaffetz, and Trey Gowdy have wrought upon the Oversight Committee, how could anyone with a scintilla of self-respect take anything republicans on the committee say now, seriously?

In light of Ben Rhodes' proclamation that most political reporters "know nothing" and are therefore easily manipulated, how could anyone with a scintilla of self-respect and self-awareness not understand that he thinks even less of you.

But most political reporters do know nothing about the realities of politics.
