Really fucking dumb when a driver is allowed to ride a bumper at 200 mph.
Because of it, Ryan Blaney may have just killed Ryan Newman.

Serious, not life threatening.

Scariest wreck I've seen.
To slam in the wall like that is scary, and it's what killed Dale Earnhardt. It was that second hit that was the most concerning. Upside down, drivers side impact with the car hitting him going 190+. That launched him so far and landed him on his hood with sparks and fire blazing all over.
I kept refreshing his name on twitter for an hour and a half straight hoping for good news. Tough for him and his family. He and his wife separated just a few days prior. Then that wreck. Has 2 young girls. Just glad he survived and will hopefully do alright in the recovery.
Was a big NASCAR fan back in the day. Now if it is on, I'll watch here and there, but not like I used to. So I don't know the specifications of everything, but those guys are so incredibly safe in those cars. But still a scary situation.

the guy that nudged him said he didn’t have anywhere to go
Ended up going but not paying to go in.
Black Crowes played a greatest hits show. Nice warm up to the race.
Race started. Cars went fast. There was an accident. Then not long after the race was stopped due to weather.
Today wasn't the main race.
A lot of people were there.
I will pay to go tomorrow if the weather is ok.
That's all I got for ya.

My apartment - no.
My rooftop (60th floor) - just a sliver.
Last night they cancelled the Chainsmokers. The "band" was NOT happy about it.
In CLASSIC/typical Chicago fashion.....
Last night a bunch of assholes decided to move/remove a fence and started "racing" on the track "UNAUTHORIZED" and being "reckless". I heard as many as 20 cars.
Pouring rain this morning - and right now. Flash flood warnings. Resumption of yesterday's race was supposed to start at 10:00am today. They didn't even let people in.
Big race is supposed to start at 4:05pm. Rain should be over by then but ground will be wet.
Complete shit show and failure - due to the weather. Otherwise, it was pretty cool to see and be at yesterday. WAY MORE people than I thought would - showed up. A LOT didn't pay to get in and watched from the "outside". There were "privacy" "sheets" covering the fences for people who didn't pay but people (even a couple of Cops) cut them so they could get a good view.
Yesterday...

Anything that cancels the Chainsmokers is probably a net positive...
Gutter gets the dumbass award for the day. IM at NASCAR and there was a minor crash in front of me. I yelled NICE, and then said/asked loudly - Does your husband drive too? Bunch of men laughed. Women, not so much.
