Day got off to a great start but then I made my usual mistake and allowed our President to make me shake my head and roll my eyes - and feel the need to share what he tweeted that caused me to do as such.

As far as auto-correct, I'm not going to argue with you but I am confident you wouldn't swear on your child's life that it was auto-correct that was responsible for your mistake. I say that having a basic knowledge of how auto-correct works and that "Housman" is not a "word" that is auto-corrected.
But hey, maybe your auto-correct (on whatever device it was that you used to make the post) is different than everyone else's. I guess that's not impossible.

OK. I'm not particularly worried about it. Since I don't have a time machine, I can't go back and tell you for sure. I know that, as a former English major, I am well-aware of how to spell Housman. It is also entirely possible that I was distracted while typing my post and added the extraneous "e". I assume it is auto-correct since I wouldn't normally make that mistake. However, it's not important enough to me to argue about. It's kind of like when Plano - a supposed former LEO - posted about "marshal" law the other day. He claimed it was an auto correct issue, and I didn't care enough to argue about it.

What IS important is that the POTUS is, even as we speak, tweeting something that is sure to upset or offend someone somewhere, and, as such, it MUST be pointed out and decried as racist, misogynistic, idiotic, bombastic, and downright unacceptable.
