Grandmaisms....

1) Things change. Except when things don't change. People say change is good. True, except when change is bad. I find more change to be bad than good.

2) If you ever have the opportunity, watch multiple dogs play together. As entertaining if not more entertaining than watching humans interact.

3) What goes up must come down is a false statement - in some regards.

4) When someone says "you can never have too many of"...... They are wrong. Too many is simply too many - of anything.

5) I assume there is a good reason why we have two ears and two eyes and only one mouth. Perhaps our maker felt it's more important to listen and observe than to speak.

Questions......

1) Someone is going to buy you a car and you have to keep it for 5 years and can not sell it - ever. All expenses paid including the cost of the car, maintenance, insurance, city and state dues, parking costs, gas, etc.
You have the choice of the following. Which do you choose?
a) Red Honda Accord
b) Blue BMW "2 Series".
c) Gray Audi A4
d) Green Ford Mustang GT
e) Bronze/Copper Volkswagen Golf R
f) White Mercedes-Benz GLA250

2) Best bathroom invention of the following...
a) toilet
b) shower
c) sink
d) tooth brush
e) towel

3) Would the world be a better place if there was only one race, religion, and nationality? Yes or no?

4) If for the rest of your life you could drink whatever you want but could only eat from one of the following food groups and be equally healthy no matter which food group you choose - which would you choose?
a) breads, cereals, rice, pasta, noodles and other grains.
b) vegetables
c) fruit
d) dairy, yogurt, cheese and/or alternatives.
e) meat, fish, poultry, eggs.

5) Someone buys you season tickets for the rest of your life. Great seats and YOU and ONE guest are the only people who can use the tickets and you can't sell them or give them away.
You may NOT choose college basketball. What team do you choose to have the season tickets for?

1. I'd say give me the Benz SUV but I hate white cars so I suppose the gray Audi.
2. Toilet.
3. In this hypothetical, if all current races, religions and nationalities were all of a sudden just gone, then no.
4. So I can constantly eat bacon and be healthy? e. I'd really miss vegetables though...and if you're considering spices as vegetables and I can't spice any of my meat, then i might choose vegetables because of the greater range in flavor.
5. Celtics.

My answers.....

1) Any would be fine. If I had to choose one I would probably go with F.
2) All closer than I originally thought. I might actually go with towel.
3) I originally thought yes - in terms of a lack of division of ideas and beliefs - which leads to hatred and wars. On second thought, a lot would have to do with a single government and that very well could be the greatest of all evils.
4) I don't like fish and I don't like eggs but I would still go with meat and poultry. Although, it might be the most boring of the options.
5) Difficult. I would say the Chicago Bears but on frigid nasty game days I wouldn't enjoy being outside. Would I have the option of being in a suite or in the stands? Then my choice/s might be different. I will go with the Chicago Cubs.

I said "might".
It's tough because I said Bathroom invention. If I just said invention my crazy thought process is......
If I am outside I don't need a toilet. If I am inside I can piss in a bottle and shit in a bag and throw it out. It would suck but a toilet wouldn't be a necessity to survive.
If I am outside, I can use a hose to bathe, I can bathe in a lake.
Sinks are important and pretty much a necessity in a home so maybe I should have said sink.
I can use my finger to brush my teeth. Obviously not as effective as a toothbrush but it would make due.
I need a towel to dry myself but I suppose I could use a shirt to dry myself - or just not dry myself and wait to dry off naturally.

You don't need a towel to dry yourself.
You could use a blanket, or just a big pelt of an animal like i'm sure early humans did.
Would you rather shit in a bag every time you wanted to shit inside or dry yourself with a blanket/shirt/any other thing besides a towel?

Sink would be the other option for me.
Certainly not towel.

1. D

3. No.

1. I guess the Audi
2. I guess the toilet
3. so much better. I think one could argue diversity makes us better, but considering how much tension there is in the world over things like the color of skin, I figure it’d be one less thing to hate each other about
4. Grains!
5. Given the proximity considerations, for right now I’ll say the nuggets

1. Audi. Either Audi or BMW, but not a fan of white so BMW out.
2. Toilet. The ability to flush down all that literal shit is great.
3. No. Love diversity.
4. Meat/Poultry/Eggs
5. Colorado Rockies. Great view. Perfect weather during middle of summer. Nice ballpark. too.

I thought about the Rockies.

Never been to a game though, and not a yuge fan of baseball personally.

And on a practical level, it’s a summer league. If it’s a scorcher of a day in July, I wanna stay up in the mountains, not go down to sweat and eat hot dogs in the city.

NBA schedule is much more favorable in that regard. I’d rather go hang in an indoor arena in January when it’s -20 degrees up here and dark by 5pm.

1. Audi
2. Toilet (actually running water is the best invention!)
3. NO!
4. Veggies, followed by fruits
5. SF Giants. Great location, lot to do before and after, not a bad team (last two years excepted)

1. The Audi (although I generally find myself cursing those driving them the most. Barely in front of Subaru operators).

2. Shower. I can shit down the drain, use to clean shit off myself after doing so, and use as sink if needed.

3. No.

4. Veggies (as long as they could be transformed into veggie burgers and such). If only while veggies, meat. But man, that’s make the bathroom awful, especially if I was shitting in the shower.

5. Rapids (or the local professional soccer team).

Audi's are great cars and not nearly as pretentious as beemer drivers....I'm on my 3rd.
1) Audi, of course as long as it has the s-line and black optic package :)
2) Toilet of course, I mean I can air dry after I hose myself down in the back yard
3) Probably not, people will just find other reasons to hate
4) Meat, fish, etc.
5) KC Chiefs

I think Audi is/can be as pretentious as any other German brand that costs twice as much as most comparable market options.

I thought about the Chiefs, but hesitated cuz nfl season tickets gets you, what, 12 games tops?

Yeah, if the Royals had a downtown ballpark, I would have chosen them. I like MLS, but don't follow it that close. KC needs an NBA team again. You would have all of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska to draw from.

I think youre gonna be cursing the p trap. With no back pressure youre gonna be showering standing in puddles of your own shit/shitwater on day 2.
