I overheat in one within minutes even when I’m not banging.

Yeah. Hot tubs are one of those things that seem like a great idea, and then lose appeal very quickly.
Except ski resort ones or other ones in freezing weather. Those are great.
I can't imagine spending money to have one.

The older I get the more appealing they are, from a therapeutic standpoint.

My sophomore year, I was supposed to be roommates with a guy who parents got him a house as an investment property, where the mortgage would be paid by his roommates, then sold after 4-5 years, hopefully having it increase in value. He was a Lothario for sure, (I was not, as I preferred to have relationships instead of flings) and amazing at picking up women. We were talking over the summer, and both saved like $500 to get a hot tub for that year in the living room. Then July, he decided to drop out of college, and I never moved in.
I wonder how my life would be different if that sophomore year happened. I imagine my browsing history would be dominated hepatitis searches for sure.
