2. You are at a "teaching" hospital. Perhaps I should refer to it as a University Hospital.
First a nurse sees you. She comes in with the results of an "image" (could be CT scan, ex-ray, MRI, PET scan) and shares what she feels is the "diagnosis". Then a "resident"/"intern" comes to see you and tells you a completely different "diagnosis". Then the doctor who is an "expert" and a professor in the particular field you are there for comes to talk to you and his/her diagnosis is the same as the nurse's.
Do you tell the doctor that the "resident"/"intern"/"fellow" is/was completely wrong/clueless and that the nurse was spot on?

I have switched my thought 3 times. I will keep and share the 4th.
I have not been in an automobile for at least the last 6 weeks. I'm not 100% sure but I'm thinking that probably has to be the longest stretch in my life. I have survived just fine. I just realized if I lived in the same place (apartment) I would never have to get in an automobile, train, plane, boat, for the rest of my life and I could survive just fine.

2. Nurses are damn smart. They are the ones that make the hospital go. Doctors don't do nearly as much to help the patients as what nurses do. That being said, you don't say that.

2. Yes. Doc needs to know "intern/resident" is a dumb fuck. I say that being that even I could see he was wrong. Like I said, it's a teaching hospital.

5 - Most people aren't surprised by my age when I tell them, so I guess about the same.

B - I would get stir crazy not traveling, but I've lived downtown a couple times in my life, and I did very much enjoy those periods of several weeks where I never drove.

2. I’d make sure that the doctor is aware of what the resident did. Usually the resident makes the diagnosis presentation to the attending physician. So I’m not sure how prevalent this situation would likely be.

Bonus: for me it’s an airplane. I’ve been on a plane at least once most months going back to February of 2015. Sometimes several times a month. Haven’t been on a plane since March first week.
