Grandma's 5 Questions for 9/2/20 + Bonus Thought

Post by Deleted User 289 »

1. You are male and you have to find a new primary care physician / Internist.
You have a choice between two doctors with exactly equal qualifications and demeanor. Both are Caucasian. Both are the same religion. Both are the same age.
One doctor is 6' 5" 250 pounds and the other doctor is 5' 9" 160 pounds. Which doctor do you choose?

2. You can answer either 2A or 2B - or both - or neither.
2A) If you are a coffee drinker and you drink coffee at home, do you have a favorite mug that you use more than 75% of the time you drink coffee at home?
2B) If you have multiple chairs at your kitchen or dinning room table, do you have a particular chair that you sit at more than 75% of the time you sit at your kitchen or dinning room table?

3. What was/is your favorite concert venue you have been to? Don't answer so quickly. It can be an indoor venue, outdoor venue, huge, small, or even a bar - which I'll allow to be considered a "concert venue" if they have live music on at least a semi frequent basis.

4. You have to choose one of the following shades of blue to be the color of the largest wall in your Bedroom for ONE year starting September 7th. You can keep the color after one year or you may change it. Which do you choose?

5. I am going to go for a bike ride today. By the time you answer this I will have probably already left to go on my ride but if you had to decide for me - what direction should I go? North? West? or South? East isn't an option because I can't ride my bike on the lake.

Bonus Thought.
I shared something with several people this morning and I knew all of them but one. It was the complete stranger who told me good luck. That meant a lot to me. Not any of the people I knew told me good luck.
I have family members who are of the same relationship and yet some tell me they love me EVERY time I see them and others NEVER tell me they love me.
I have a co-worker who checks in with me daily and I have co-workers at the same level in the same department who have not contacted me once in the last 6 months.
Moral of this is..... I need to be more cognizant and take 5 minutes of my day - to be a better person - express myself to others in a positive manner - and not expect anything in return.

1) Wut?
2) Yes to both
3) Probably Starlight. Saw the 1st rock concert held there. Heart, in the 70's when they were good. Saw Elton John there. And the good ole GD there three times. Memorial in the 'Dotte was pretty cool as well. Saw Robin Trower with Jack Bruce there back in the day. One of the most boring concerts ever.
4) Stone
5) East

1. Depends...one is a small pg and the other is a power wing. How’s the wingspan? Jumpers? Who’s got the better handles? Score first or look to create?
2. I have a 3 mug rotation that usually gets me from one dishwasher cycle to the next

Dangit I pressed submit too soon.

3. Shoot...some good memories at liberty hall on mass. And the bottleneck. And who doesn’t love red rocks. But I’ll just say Ullr’s tavern in Winter Park.
4. Either navy or berry
5. East. Just start pedaling real fast and see if you can hydroplane all the way to Michigan

Bonus: good luck! I also think it’s funny when I tell y’all tourists “enjoy your stay” and they reply with, “you too!”

1. 5' 9" 160
2A - Yes
2B - N/A
3. I figure the most common answer will be Red Rocks. I'm torn because there have been some great small indoor venues and some of the best concerts I have attended were in huge outdoor stadiums. I'll say the Metro in Chicago just to say one.
4. I don't consider it to be blue or even close to blue but for my bedroom - I'll go with slate
5. Not sure yet. Very rarely go west but may start west and then head north and go get some beef jerky at Paulina Market.

Your response/s is usually good for a laugh or two. You didn't disappoint.

1. Damn
2. A. Not a big coffee drinker. But if I do, there's one I go for everytime.
B. Yes. 6 seat table. Wife and I always sit at ends (They have the armrests) and we always sit same spot.
3. I haven't been to many concerts. Maybe a handful. But have been to Red Rocks once and it was incredible.
4. My pick would be Spruce.
5. South

BINGO!
Hey, some guys might enjoy butt-sex so maybe they prefer the larger hand/finger size. NOT ME!

1. 5'9" 160
2. No
3. The Galleria in SF
4. Spruce
5. West

The surgeon that diagnosed me with prostate cancer was 6'8" and weighed +/- 230 lbs. Getting the biopsy (sticking a dart gun up my butt and shooting hollow cylinders into the prostate to collect samples of the cell growth) was a lot easier to take than his excited probing prebiopsy. Did I mention his span? The surgeon I selected was about 5'8" and his hands were smaller than my 6 year old son's.

Cancer free since 2007.
