Can swans whine and cry?

Well the term comes from some old legend that swans are mute until right before they die, at which point they finally kick out the jamz.
But I’m thinking a laundry list of spiteful executive orders, deregulation, effing the environment, undermining social justice, and pardons pardons pardons.
YOU get a pardon! YOU get a pardon!

Now comes the reckoning. And not in the way he and Lobster believe. It has been a nightmare of evil "let's pretend."

He poops his pants and leaves the diaper in the Oval Office. Cuz that's the kinda guy he is.

There’s a Merchant of Venice-like solution. Make sure that the lessees are bound to extract only oil and not disturb or remove as much as a blade of grass. Make it so that they can’t build a road to bring in equipment or people and make it so that no one can stay/live there for more than 12 hours at a time. This means that they have to helicopter in people and equipment.
Make it so difficult that the lessees just give up

...until the lessees run their claims through the courts, which are now tilted over to the side.

I'm not sure I would define this as part of his "swan song" but it's something that is fucking over our country that he is responsible for.
Mr. "I only hire the the best" has gotten Rudy Giuliani and Scott Atlas to be his puppets.
Two people who have proven to be among the biggest pieces of shit on the planet - and are proud of it.
That's who Trump was, is, and will always be. Someone who not only relies on but demands others to kiss his ass - even when he is wrong - and who will lie, cheat, and steal for him. Then if you don't, he turns on you in a heartbeat and criticizes you.
Meanwhile, Mr. "I only hire the best" will never take any accountability for hiring those who he fired and feels the need to insult.
While I should be thrilled, I admit it actually frightens me when I see that Trump hasn't tweeted anything in the last 11+ hours. Normally one would think no news is good news. With him I think no news is bad news and I can't help but wonder what he's up to. Part of me says hopefully he's busy doing his job and the other part of me says god forbid he's doing his job. Only thing he has on his "public" schedule today is In-House Pool Call Time.
P.S. Jr.'s swan song might be to hook up with Candy, do a bunch of blow, and bang on the desk in the Oval Office.
Yes folks, this yet another example of the Republican party at it's finest.

Actually in my scenario that’s the feature not the bug. The idea is to increase the pain-factor to a point where they have to go to court and win for everything, up to and including bringing in a roll of toilet paper and then have to safely remove it from the site after use. They can have all the court wins but it would cost them time and money.

i just wish we’d quit kicking the energy solvency can down the road for someone else to deal with, while in the process continuing to wreak havoc on the few remaining, relatively healthy ecosystems we’ve got left
i was thrilled when Biden announced that he’d reverse trump’s Bears Ears initiative, for both ecological and anthropological reasons (and because it’s like my favorite place in the state to explore)

Suffice it to say that the pandemic has
not been a successful test run at addressing climate change.

related...the same behavior and view of the natural world that apparently led to covid, just so happens to be the same behavior and view of the world that has fostered our climate conundrum

Agree completely. The rejection of expertise, treatment of science/fact/math as matters of debate.

Serious question, can Joe Biden simply tell him that he will be resuming the job on January 20th?

I don't know the answer but I would assume so.
The craziest thing is this is someone Trump hired himself. Someone Trump wanted to do the job he was hired to do. Then he did it well and honestly - so Trump fired him because of it?
That's the fucking asshole lunatic we have for a President and people actually defend the guy (Trump) and like/love him. It's a sick country we are living in.
