I figured this is deserving of its own thread.

Admittedly I haven’t followed these races until recently. What are the chances Dems win both seats?

Less than 50%. I mean, it's a black guy and a jew, in Georgia.

Don’t see any way both seats go blue, but I think 1 going blue is a near certainty

They are both so corrupt it is hard to see their basic get out the vote support will mirror democrats. Also can run against McConnell fairly easily as he laughs at COVID death and mayhem. The GOP is an evil menace right now.

Loeffler seems to be more vulnerable than Perdue. No result from all blue to all red would surprise me.

The tolerance for stupidity and corruption by republicans and "see no evil" independents cannot be overstated, unfortunately. These races should be blue--and not even close. But--deleted users--vote.

Stacey Abrams
her presence alone makes it even possible that both seats go blue
the dems owe her more than anyone on the national stage seems to admit

Saw this in another board: “Upon further review we do indeed recognize David as one of our own - Perdue Chicken Company”

It's sort of interesting, watching the candidates (and the party) have to fit their pitches into two conflicting narratives at the same time: (1) the runoff races are exceedingly consequential, because control of the Senate is at stake, and also (2) Trump did not lose the election.
Of course, control of the Senate is at stake only if Trump did in fact lose the election.

I can absolutely see these both flipping given the stakes as well as in response to the pathetic behavior of the Republican candidates and the party in general.

but you’re forgetting one key detail:
The pathetic behavior of the Republican candidates and the party in general is the kind of shit Republican voters can’t get enough of

Like testing positive for COVID-19 and appearing at campaign events with Ernst and Perdue.
