Preseason starts tonight.
That and $2.25 cures my insomnia and gets me a ride on a bus.
Unless the Lakers have significant injuries, I don't see how they won't win another 'ship.

Looking forward in particular to seeing how nba Jayhawks will do.
Hopefully Graham will establish himself as a star. The Wiggins/Oubre dubs will be fun too. And maybe we finally get that morri matchup in the playoffs

Jazzed about Udoka.
Slightly bullish on Dotson.

Those guys too!
Dok could be a killer against the right matchup. Make other teams adjust, even if only for a few possessions mid-1st half.
And Dot’s quickness is hard to deny.
They both still so young too!

Dotson preseason NBA debut - 7 minutes, 0-4 fg, 0-1 3pt, 2 rebounds, 1 steal.

Svi with 14 points in 16 minutes. Impressive regardless if it’s just preseason ball. 4-8 from 3. He’s in a battle to be Detroit’s starting SG.
Both Morris twins sat out tonight as their teams face off.

Dok has 2 lob dunks and a couple of blocks in just a handful of minutes for his debut. Announcers raving about him...

Rockets / Thunder postponed.
Not a great start to the season.

K.A.T.
Understandable. Heartbreaking. Say what you will.
I say, I sincerely hope the man is receptive to and is getting the help he seems to desperately need.

In lighter news.....
5 games on the slate today.
Have to assume the Mavs/Lakers will be the most watched one.
Pelicans / Heat -
Pelicans can go 2-0 and the Heat can go 0-2 after today.
I didn't realize the Pelicans were 4-0 in 2018/2019 before they ended up 33-49.
I like the Heat to win today.
Warriors / Bucks
One of the teams will be 0-2 after today.
I figure it will be the Warriors.
Nets / Celtics
Eastern Conference Finals Preview?
Assuming the team's stars stay healthy, I think it will be.
I'm picking the Celtics to go 2-0.
Mavs / Lakers
Has there been a more well liked foreign player than Luka? There very well may have been but I can't think of one off hand. Giannis is obviously very well liked too but I don't think as much as Luka is.
Blows my mind that I was at the last Mavs/Lakers game in L.A. - Less than a year ago - and that I saw Kobe in person less than a month before he died.
Will the Lakers be 0-2 after tonight? I say no.
I like the Lakers to win.
Clippers / Nuggets
Nuggs could fall to 0-2.
Will we see PG13 have another 30 point game? I think we will.
Unfortunately no Marcus tonight.
Crazy thought is that I never expected the Nuggets to have the 3rd best record in the West last season - and meanwhile - I don't see/think there are any other teams bedsides the Lakers and the Clippers who will finish ahead of them this season.
My worthless guess is the Clippers win by 8.

The love Luka gets is insane. but well deserved. There have been other foreign players that became very well respected/loved. but not this early in their career. The most obvious comparison is another dallas guy.. but Dirk didn't get love like this until 10+ seasons in the league if ever

I wish it were otherwise, but the NBA product isn’t my cup of tea.

The Shitcago Bools are JUNK!
2 games in to the season and they are already done.
Might end up being the worst team in the East.
What was Billy Donovan thinking? ZERO chance he can be a successful coach in Chicago with the garbage he has and the fact that they won't be getting any elite Free Agents for a long time.
