Ok, I am a normally a huge fan and I realize how crazy of a season it's been but..........
3-4 (Houston), 2-8 (South Carolina) 5-6 (W. Kentucky), 3-7 (Mississippi State), 3-7 (Tennessee), 3-7 (Arkansas), 4-6 (Kentucky), and 4-5 (Ole Miss), are playing in Bowl games.
I'm sorry but I just don't feel sub .500 teams should be playing in Bowl games.
A 2-8 record gets you in a Bowl game? Come on!

Also, I am being dead serious when I say Liberty/Coastal Carolina in the FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl is one the 5 most interesting Bowl games for me this season.

Should have been. I'm cool with getting smashed by Army just to get extra practice.

Tennessee is OUT of the Liberty Bowl. Let the dominoes fall?

I noticed the George Foreman Grill PIzza Roll Bowl in Teaneck NJ was missing.

Really enjoying the CCU Liberty game. 34-34 with three minutes to go.

Fumble on the one yard line instead of taking a knee and kicking a FG

Was a great game.
I don't think they were trying to score there - and the OL went brain dead.
Meanwhile, I would have tried to have scored a TD. Odds are probably that you have a better chance of missing the FG than Coastal scoring a TD with about 20/25 seconds left on the clock.
The Irony was that Liberty ended up winning in OT because they blocked a FG.

Coastal went brain dead in the end. I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't punish them with Marable. It was like the Chiefs today--throw three wild passes and hope for penalties.

So much for the pundits saying the Big 12 is weak. Went undefeated. 6-0

5-0 but still damn impressive no matter how you slice it.
The "pundits" might rightfully tell you that the Big 12 was favored in all the games they won (I'm not 100% sure - but I believe that to be true) and didn't have any teams in the BCS Playoff/s (that I am 100% sure of).

Thought this is/was somewhat interesting. The ACC (with TWO BCS Playoff teams) and Conference USA finished a combined 0-12.

I just now realized the championship game is tonight.

I know we spend a lot of time talking about what's wrong with college basketball. But my goodness, college football is broken much, much worse.

With all that's gone on this season, I think the "champion" will have a bigger asterisk than had KU been awarded the hoops title last year.

Just my biased opinion...but football was just a series of games and not a season.

Yup.
Ohio State could play 8 games and be the champion.
Close to as bad as Helms.

It's not just that. It's the extreme competitive imbalance. Ohio State is a completely credible and strong title game participant...and they're going to get fly-meet-windshielded.

I come at this from a very particular perspective, but: N/I/L will do wonders for competitive balance in college football.

Almost no noncon, so no way to evaluate conferences. Pac12 played 4 games, B1G started later than others...

Remember that one time Najee Harris visited Kansas twice? And when Jamarr Chase was committed for a week?

Good times.

Devonte Smith might be on of the most u stoppable players I’ve ever seen at the collegiate level.
