2020 in a nutshell.....
Besides 3 of my close family members who are in real bad shape in terms of their health, I had to get a Cardiac Calcium Scan on Monday. Results came back and SHOCKED my Internist and me.
In a good way. Score of 0. I asked him if they made a mistake. He claims no.
Meanwhile, UNEXPECTEDLY the scan showed I have a fucked up lung that very well may require surgery.

Forgetting that - Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope 2021 is a better one for you - and everyone else you care about.

Being the eternal optimist that I am, I'm still hoping to wring some good out of the final hours of this year.

Soooooo...... I guess it's ok to say, thankfully hindsight is 20-20 (2020).

I woke up this morning and 2 minutes later I had my first smirk of 2021 because it had started much like 2020 ended.
I looked at my phone and there was a report of someone stabbed at the Ivy Hotel a block and a half from where I live. I smirked because I said to myself, of course there was. I fully expected there to be an incident or two or three last night and early today. The "clientele" has a reputation to uphold.
